A guy in this facebook group (who's from my city and his name is Gonzalo L.) is selling proxies there, using images of many of us. I've reported his post and explained him such activity is illegal. In case any of you is being affected by this (there are even handpainted alters of mine!) feel free to report his post as well.
Where does it mention anything about sources? These refer explicitly and solely to techniques.
The verbiage used is what caused this? The fact that "digital render" and "proxy" are synonymous means nothing? Had they said "I'm looking for the digital renders gallery of X" you'd have not swung the ban hammer?
If this is the direction this is going from here on, then I shan't be participating and I suggest you close and lock this thread.
Proxies
Proxies are substitute cards created solely by judges in sanctioned tournaments pursuant to the official tournament rules. These substitutes are allowed when authorized game cards become unplayable during a sanctioned tournament because of damage or excessive wear. Proxies do not include any graphical reproduction of their intended substitutes.
Counterfeits
Counterfeits are copies or reproductions of actual Wizards trading cards, whether or not they are identified as non-genuine. The creation and distribution of counterfeits violate United States and international copyright laws and negatively affects the integrity of Wizards’ trading card games. Counterfeits are strictly prohibited, even for personal, non-commercial use.
So no, "digital render" and "proxy" aren't synonymous. Such text is part of the rules users should abide to while posting. What these users were talking about is counterfeits, by calling them "proxies". They were talking about sources for creating counterfeits, not for sharing digital imagery (digital image =/= counterfeit, wrongly called "proxy").
So, we want to abide by WotC's policies and we need to do so in order to be able to keep this thread legal and give you space for sharing your production. We are not here to tell people what to do with those images. Still, we can't allow poeple to make apologia of illegal activity. In the end, while sharing digital renders is fine, talking publicly about using it for counterfeiting isn't.
I do not see the reason of you having to leave or us needing to close this thread, since you and many other have been sharing renders for a long time without messing with the rules.

@Everyone: PLEASE, you should read the rules carefully before posting. ANY kind of talk about proxying is PROHIBITED, even if it's about sources of material. The users that were suspended here were talking about such sources as sources for proxying instead of sharing those sources as digital rendering sources. Apologia of proxying is as illegal as proxying itself.
Good thing about FoW is that it could be graphically translated into a force of will against or in pursuit of almost anything you want, specially thanks to the character's posture. Translating this to the game, perhaps you could think about wich spells or game actions you usually have to face and fight against the most and recreate one of them.
You could also make a background change or a character replacement. Those are pretty common and look dangly good (such as those depicting Jace or Yawgmoth in the same posture, or the background change Terese Nielsen did to that famous FoW of hers in youtube).
FoW lends itself to a vast variety of possibilities!
Nice legend you gave us to work with, JG! (I agree on the change GM proposes, but more because of gamming purposes than for it's flavor oddity).
Some brainstorming:
I would suggest to rework Thrive, perhaps to turn it into a storm version (I think what perhaps what we want to go with here is a storm reinsert)
About reprints, what about a small version of Doubling Season, wich could work with a particullar kind of creature tokens (restricted to color, p/t, etc) and/or +1/+1 counters instead of any kind of them. It could actually just work with +1/+1 counters and perhaps also be a dude with heroic.
NAME COST
Creature - TYPES (?)
Heroic — Whenever you cast a spell that targets NAME, put a +1/+1 counter on /another?/ target creature.
COST: Until end of turn, if an effect would place one or more +1/+1 counters on a creature you control, it places twice that many of those +1/+1 counters on that creature instead.
We could even make the activated ability to be a trigger, but I would preffer it to be act. to allow the creature to have more board presence.
Also:
NAMEGW
Instant C
Put a +1/+1 counter on target /attacking or blocking?/ creature.
Storm (When you cast this spell, copy it for each spell cast before it this turn.)
We could even replace storm with that cute ability I can't remember who brought up, called battlestorm (interesting to create theroid flavor as well). This would make the card more constructed appealing
Verios, Overseer of Thoth3WB
Legendary Creature - Human Soldier (R)
At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice a creature with the least power amongst creatures you control. If you do, put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
3/5 His city is a monument of strength, built upon the bones of those too weak to enter it.
I would replace ". If you do" with ". Then" You'll always sacrifice a creature due to Verios being a creature itself. I would also add the usual clarification at the end: "If two or more creatures are tied for least power, you choose one of them."
That should work. if I´m correct, there's no way of turning Veros into a noncreature permanent that retains that ability.
Kalenia of the Sprouting Trace1GW
Legendary Creature — Elf Spirit M
Whenever Kalenia of the Sprouting Trace enters the battlefield or attacks, search your library for a basic land card and put that card onto the battlefield tapped. Then shuffle your library.
For each basic land type, as long as you control two or more basic lands of that type, other creatures you control get +1/+1. "Wherever we go, Gaia is there to recieve us."

I tried contacting him on facebook about it before, no response...
What about here by pm? He's a regular poster. I would be glad to throw you a hint, but I haven't touched a playmat before. Perhaps I've readed somewhere (not really sure) that "micron pens" or "permasomething pens" are the thing they use. Even the Sakura ones could be useful here. Also, I belive that a regular sealant (as the ones used with altered cards) would be enough (it would be great to have a mat alterer making a confirmation of this). In case of using a regular sealant, you would probably need to roll the playmat with a wider radius for transprotation, perhaps inside of one of those plastic tubes used to carry blueprints). Also, it would probably be better to seal with a fine layer instead of a tick one.
Take all the aforementioned with a grain of salt, since I'm not talkig from experience.
I like it, futantshadow. It has been a long time since the last time you've shared a piece here. Nice to have you back
Wich materials have you used? Would it be possible to also know the technique behind it? Perhaps you may try to use acrylics to color your pieces, such as those used to paint small pieces from wargames.
I've reported to facebook, not to WotC.
