You find Sofia helping to clean up the debris near the Ferry Docks and Bait Shop, with any luck they Ferries will be running again soon. As you approach you see a potion amidst the wreckage and she gives you a warm smile as you pick it up (I assume you're going to.) "Glad to see you're ok. We've had a little excitement here..."
What do you do?
Nicolette picks up the Potion, with the intent of using it on an injured pokemon from the wreckage and rubble. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to get here faster, Emberlace and I did the best we could."
Nicolette began to explain the whole series of events that she can connect to the serpents, from finding that abandoned temple in the mountains, to the events of the desert ruins and the Rocket Jenny.
All the while, she will help Sofia clean up, and keep her eyes open for any more random items or injured pokemon that require attention.

Just inside the city you come across a small Glameow wandering the streets...
What do you do?
Nicolette looked at Glameow for a minute, considering whether to attempt to add the cat to her team, then shook her head and moved on. She needed to find Sofia as quickly as possible to assist however she could.
- A 3/3 with three abilities that uses fate counters
This could be the Three Fates. They've done triplets as a single card before, why not three similar beings?
- Multiple cards with the word "nongorgon"
Oh, yes. Oh my, yes. My Damia EDH deck is tingling with excitement.
- A high-profile cycle of legendary permanents that are not creatures or lands
It's been said before, and I agree with Bident and friends
- A rare card with five words of rules text in which one of the words is "planeswalker"
REGENERATE target creature or planeswalker? . . . I mean, it kind of fits the hero thing, in my opinion
- An artifact creature that appears to be a big horse made out of wood
To quote one of my favourite movies, "Look, if we build this large, wooden badger . . . "
- A 5/5 giant snake that can be cast for :symg::symg:
Maybe something relating back to the gorgons again? Medusa had snakes, maybe this "costs 1 less for each Gorgon you control."
- A multicolor Minotaur lord
Because Zedruu, and Tanny were getting lonely.
- A card that could have been in Modern Masters
Holy Thoughtseize-bandwagon, Batman! This could actually be anything from 8th Edition to just before Zendikar. Anything. About all it really confirms is we're getting a direct reprint of a card from that period. I'm going to go way out in left field and hope for AEther Snap, because even obscure EDH cards need some love.
- A giant that brings fire to humans
. . . . Moonveil Dragon, but more like "R: Humans you control get +1/+0 until end of turn" ?
- A creature with a saboteur ability (it has an effect if the creature deals combat damage to an opponent) which is one of the Power Nine
Again, this could be anything. Wanderwine Prophets, Somberwald Sage, Sphinx of Lost Truths, they all reference Power 9 in some form, and all had their applicable decks they functioned well in . . . some decks were obviously stronger than others, but Wizards has admitted time and again the FFL isn't perfect.
. . .
With that out of the way, I'm really looking forward to new gorgons, pegasii, and krakens; I'll withhold judgement on the nymphs until I see more of them, but I have high hopes for some really exceptional art for them.
The beating was starting to take its toll on Onix. Nicolette decided she needed to close this out quickly with either a capture or a win. "Try to land an iron tail on it, again!" Onix lashed out with its glistening tail segments, hoping to land a strong blow on Kangaskhan. (hp bordering yellow)

As Kangaskhan closed for the attack, Nicolette called out "Dragon breath! Hit it while it's close to you!" Onix roared, and belched a stream of dragonfire at its opponent as the Kangaskhan's fist slammed into its rocky body.
OOC: 1, 2, 3 the punch misses (85% hit rate in DPPt) [dice]20[/dice]
Nicolette saw Onix's body shudder slightly with the blow, but it didn't deter her from the battle. "Throw some rocks at it! Keep it moving so it can't wind up like that!" Onix twisted again, and a storm of rocks and boulders came tumbling out at Kangaskhan.
Nicolette released her Onix. With a mighty bellow, the massive rocksnake appeared. "Okay, let's get its attention with an iron tail!" Another bellow, and Onix was charging the Kangaskhan. As it drew close, its curled its segmented body over on itself as the end started to glow with a metallic sheen. Once in striking range, Onix lashed out like a cracking whip at its opponent . . .

Once you're there, you look around the area for anything interesting and after a few minutes you find a Kangaskhan...
What do you do?
OOC: Nicolette was so in awe of finding a Kangaskhan, she forgot to post!!
Nicolette and Emberlace skidded to a halt near the giant Kangaskhan. "Sorry, girl, but you need to keep your speed up" she said as she reached for another pokeball on her belt . . .
Onix's giant tail lashed at Kangaskhan hard, knocking it prone and sending its child flying out of its pouch. The protective Pokémon scurried off in a panic in search of the missing child.
YOU WON!
Onix gained 4 exp.
Nicolette recalled her Onix, as she and Emberlace continued their sprint back to Magnolia to help with the relief effort and damage control.
[dice]100[/dice] for the usual shiny things on the ground, or pokemon
You look around the ruined temple but unfortunately you don't find anything really helpful with regards to the serpents. The only bright spot is the fact that you find a Relic Copper in the debris...
What do you do next?
Nicolette slipped the relic into her satchel as well. Disappointed that there were no further leads in the ruins, she and Emberlace continued their quest back to Magnolia City with all speed.
There isn't a whole lot of the cavern that still remains to be explored, all you really find is a startled little Zubat...
What do you do?
It sounded like there was still some storm happening, so Nicolette ignored the Zubat to the best of her ability, and went to the ruins. Using Emberlace's flames as guiding light (the Ponyta was grateful for the rest, as eager as she was to get to Magnolia), the pair explored the ruins more thoroughly. Nicolette hoped to find something to help indicate how to avert the disasters, and possibly stop the three creatures what were not wreaking havoc across Ageos.

Seeing the Corphish was just enjoying the muck where is was, Nicolette decided to be on her way to Magnolia instead of battling.

Will have to go with Marrow Shards, because Elesh looks beyond incredible in that artwork.
Runner-ups with MM/DD:AvB Lightning Helix, Gleam of Battle which makes a really nice foil, Magma Phoenix, Goblin Razerunners, Violent Ultimatum, dat FMN Despise, the JSS or whatever Glorious Anthem really needs to see regular printing . . . . and Big Scudds because I have a foil signed by him
