I keep feeling like KCC should know I'm town by now.
Based on what? Your early game where you were overly bouncy about wanting something to do, or your doing nothing since then?

That last KCC post feels super hedgey and I don't like it.

It absolutely is. I don't want to commit to a KJ read before I'm sure, I like my 100% accuracy there

His early play felt off, but it was a brief window. His reaction to me questioning him on that felt a little self conscious, but not impossible if he's town and was concerned with my read, considering how I approached him as scum. And since then, I'm wondering if he decided to keep his head down after that, but he could just be busy, and I'm the last person to push someone for that.

Basically, I'm in the same place I've been, notably not townreading him, but waiting to see some non-early game content before deciding

Tom picking up on it too, possibly before I did depending on the timing of his messages makes me a little less hesitant on it

...Yea I'm not super into the idea of this being a lock.
I'm not slamdunk convinced from that particular post. But I've seen enough other things that there's a good chance Tom is right

(This one was before #362 where she stated she saw Last as town, so why not say so in the above post?)
Because I wasn't townreading Last yet
    Quote from Slothful »
Possible scumset motivation: yes, keep looking at Zion. Although I’m not going to vote him yet, despite the argument I’m presenting here actually being really good grounds for at least a pressure vote.
Yes, I probably would have voted there, but I was busy with grape and only have one vote
    Quote from Slothful »
Same with this one. The YWF wagon? Pretty sure that was just jokingly made by the two voting for her and she’s fine with it?
Yes, it was fine. I didn't have a townread there and was fine with that slot being poked
    Quote from Slothful »
The post she’s quoting was posted before her return, and her response to it was after her return and after she had answered the one question I asked her. Seems a little too nervous.
I saw I only had one response to you, and it didn't seem like something you'd be waiting for, so I went back through your iso to see if I missed something

People ignoring posts at them is a pet peeve of mine, and something I absolutely won't do
    Quote from Slothful »
Starts with a lot of steam, and it kinda just waffles out for…not good enough reasons, at least in my opinion. Doesn’t feel like she had that much belief in it.[/b]
It wasn't a super strong scum read, just a post that felt off and worth investigating

So one will need to point me to something that comes from wolf!killjoy

I'm not exactly scumreading kj, I haven't seen enough to make a confident read one way or the other. But if we absolutely need a counter wagon, that's one of the places I'd like seeing pressure
    Quote from ZeDorkSlipeur »
or Zionite's recent case (#607) on KCC that may look nice with links, but sure as **** does not look like he's that interested in getting her lynched
Like a half-hearted OMGUS push from scum who feels obligated to do something, but doesn't actually expect it to work at all?

As for current site meta, pushing now in the Day is almost pointless, since with a 3/3 1700 mst deadline, Day probably lasts until 3/3 1645 mst, because every single Day absolutely must be dragged to the last second and include panicked EoD screaming

The bit about KCC pushing me but not going all out is astute.
OMG I'm not a complete psycho, I wasn't ready to murder you yet from just pinging me, you get at least one response first

Maybe I'll come back later, but right now there isnt a counter train and that bothers the hell out of me, he isn't even that wolfy to justify the existence of no counter train
We had a counter wagon on grape
    Quote from Zionite »
Might be some projecting here with the trying to hard to look engaged.
Lol. You're going to need to show me where you say I'm doing that, because I'm well aware I play the early game at like 50%
    Quote from Zionite »
I don't like this post because it's like an excuse to not contribute. What would even happen if no one said anything unless it was a question directed toward them?
Maybe the thread would still be readable by D2

Anyway, the point was that if someone wants something from me, it's more effective to just ask me directly rather than make an aimless comment. Last especially should know by now I'm way more interested when something involves me
    Quote from Zionite »
I suppose this post would be the first engagement with what we had so far. What I find interesting is that we remove the RVS, don't really dig into Zionite right away on why I may have missed it, go after Grape even though KCC previously said the YWFMLF wagon was fine I guess. The follow up vote on Grape was weak and didn't really inspire anyone to follow.
We did have a nice little wagon going, but okay

And, yes, the ywfmlf wagon was fine at the time, I had no issues with it. And then grape caught my eye

Are you actually trying to frame scum hunting as being suspicious because I didn't hate earlier pressure on a different unrelated player?
    Quote from Zionite »
This post is a mis-characterization and seems like KCC knew that with the 'if' statement.
How was it a mischaracterization? It was one of the exactly two reasons you gave
    Quote from Zionite »
Here we start bringing up Zio-meta that I don't particularly agree with. If anything I cared too much as scum in 2015. Kinda feels like some light mud-slinging.
Maybe in 2015? My meta is from more like 2012. And I'm not wrong. The game that I remember clearly, you ignored the consistent pressure against you for Days, pretty much right up until you were already nearly buried
    Quote from Zionite »
Like what is he supposed to say to his post being out of character when it still is in character with the spoiler? I don't understand a scum hunting mindset fitting here.
It wasn't something I'd expect from him: part of the post I could see, but not the whole, together, as posted. -And what was he supposed to say? An explanation, if there was one?

Which... is exactly what he did, so what are you even saying here?
    Quote from Zionite »
I found it odd KCC totally missed my self-meta post.
I know you linked games. That doesn't mean that was the exact list KJ looked at. He might have only read some, or found more, or been making it up to sound like he was researching

It was something I wanted to have down now, rather than coming back for less useful clarification later

More the former. I don't really take meta as a serious read when I enter a game and start looking at them. I think meta is terrible because I think most people are aware of their own meta.
Yeah, I think I've played with you once, ever, and I vaguely remember clashing with you theory-wise
    Quote from Vaimes »
I'm trying to let him do his thing. Historically, I feel like there's some weird scumhunting rift between people who play here now and people who played more years ago. I don't really know how to describe it, but I notice that it causes the older crowd to get a lot of heat early on.

That said, 4/5 of my townreads are voting him and his wagon hasn't really budged beyond that (at least before KCC voted).
Also, I'm of the older crowd, and still think he's scum, so it's not just that
For the record @KCC, my buddy from Michigan has a Turkish Van. Beautiful cat. Derpy as hell, but somehow also smart. Pure white with black ears and a black tail. Your title made me appreciate that.
I completely forgot that was my title, I used to have a bunch of cupcake-cat puns for it

Also, that cat sounds gorgeous, I've only seen Tabby colored Vans. Kinda jealous

I literally can't prove that I'm town though. So that's why I'm more of a "let's just get this over with" instead of "I'm town you gotta believe me".

Ew. I'm pretty relaxed under pressure, but I wasn't even this bad after being CCed
    Quote from Zionite »
I like that you're owning the Flarg comment instead of trying to explain it away. I'm also owning my backtracking in that I'm doing it on purpose.
    Ewwww
    Quote from Zionite »
But it was already mostly done so I figured why not, I'll do this and backtrack later, or investigate further anyone who bites and follows it.
This is not a real thought you had

    vote Zion

Meta defenses are terrible, and I don't use meta and am super against it. Pretty outspoken about so.

Are you saying you're against someone using "oh that's just how I play" as their only explanation for something, or are you saying you're against taking a person's playstyle into account when reading them? Or somewhere in between?

I agree - however, was that line the entire basis for your vote? What about the points you liked about Rhand, and even what you mentioned of KJ prior? Does this comment absolve him of everything else in your eyes?
Also of relevance is that he was already voting Jack at this point, joke or not.

That post feeling wrong is definitely what tipped him into being my lead suspect. He's certainly not in my town pile or anything now, but idk, poking there more doesn't feel fruitful atm. Like, I can understand why a townGrape might have reacted as he did initially to jack

These posts happened within the same 24-hour period, in the order displayed. If you don't think Last is scum, and don't believe his claim, then what do you think is happening here?

    He's falseclaimg a N0 for reactions and/or fun

He did it as a scum gambit not long ago and I didn't believe it then either

I looked over Zionite's games and he's correct, that behavior isn't typical. Which makes his initial bloodthirst potentially a thing (on page 4).
    Which games?
