Holy crap... a 300% increase in price?! -_- I still need 3 more...
I have a feeling this is going to be just a hiccup in the price. Like how Blue Moon got so popular for a month after it first showed up a few years ago, and then sort of evened out (obviously it didn't die off).
This could very well just be wishful thinking though...
Maybe I should unload the signed copy I have now in hopes of it dropping again later... hmmm...
How much does our deck cost on MTGO? I really need to start playing on there to get more reps in with this deck. I don't really get to play much IRL :/
For now I will live and learn vicariously through you guys
Never played MTGO, but if I'm understanding the layout, red arrows point OUT from the source of an effect, red arrows point IN on the target of an effect.
I used a few Cosi's Tricksters when I went UW with Paths instead of Cursecatcher. Not sure what alternative you would want instead of Spell Pierce though. Remand?
I (for some reason that I'm not certain. Maybe because of being trounced by them in some qualifiers the day before) had a few Kiora's Dismissal's in my side for the Bogle match up. It worked against both Bogles and Twin, but was still a bad idea
I see a lot of people maindecking one or two Phantasmal Images. Why not use 4 Phantasmal Images now? Especially when we have such creature heavy builds.
What do you take out for it? I think the best balance is in 3 each of Rejerey and Master of Waves, and 2 Phantasmal IMages, that way you have the 4th copy of the former cards if you need them, but still have a very good chance of drawing them. Maybe you can take out a Harbinger for a 3rd Image, but I don't know what we would remove beyond that.
If Skyline cascade actually tapped the creature in addition to freezing it, I would say that this wouldnt be that bad of an idea to abuse, but the card isnt worth trying to abuse. Once the opponent sees you attempt to try and "abuse" this card, they will easily play around it.
When you go to abuse it, there is a good chance it might be too late for them to play around it.
Don't sell decks mate, you'll usually regret it. Ad Nauseam is a sweet deck and changing things up from time to time makes you a better player. Build it slow and steady.
Hi everyone. Apologies if this has been answered before, especially if it has been recently, but is it possible to search out foreign printings on PucaTrade? Never used the site, but have been considering it if it allows me to get these cheaper.
One of the big things that I believe Bearscape forgot to mention, and the reason why half of those interactions work, is because like most clones, Phantasmal Image does NOT target (meaning it get's around hexproof as well)

Im not sold on the new negate art just yet

I can a test to this...
