I agree 100% on sower he is house in this deck
Perstermite might warrent some testing just seems slow for a aggro/contol deck like we run
I personally prefer faerie conclave to mutavault just cuz i still like the reassurance of colors and flying idk
Clique would work but the deck has to have enough fairies to support him and it turns into more of a faerie deck with burn (which actually doesnt sound 2 bad)

cool now that we have stopped attacking each other and started trying to maximize efficiency inside the decks i feel we can really get somewhere

i like marauders they serve as a lava axe or a sudden shock at worst

they also force the opposing aggro deck 2 make unfavorable trades

epochrasite would be good in that slot but i think with the amount of ways this deck crushes aggro (no pun intended) i think its unnecessary

the more i look at ur deck the more i feel compelled to play it, however i need 2 c how the elves/warriors/doran/revillark matchups are

i still think crusher is better than ironfoot for this deck or any deck with red in general
it promotes ur virtual card advantage theme

i just think to a deck dedicated 2 card advantage that ur list would have problems keeping up, i mean pestermite and mutavault can only go so far

BTW sory about my spelling mine stems from my laziness

Edit: Sory i forgot to mention, the way my mana base is allows me to play a turn 3 crusher and turn 4 sower reliably (as uncommon as it may be)

Ok so my deck's mana base is not atrocious
If u at all could even notice for a moment my deck's base is founded off the 13th place deck at krakow not some side event world thing
His deck loses all elements of aggro, i cant see how it can out race other aggro decks wen he has to commit at least 2 lands a turn to an offense
Gemstone mine is NEVER bad in this deck, we have 4 dual color lands... thats it
The miser vivid creek is 2 allow essentially a fifth dual land in a sense
I will agree epocrasite would be good in the deck... just tell me wat to take out
If any1 had noticed i never said i keep losing to mannequin, i just think its our worst matchup
Counter based control i think i over estimated now with the new sb i dont really have that much problems versus control
i like slithermuse more inside this deck than mulldrifter bcuz if nothing else its a 3/3 who allows me to overcommit to this deck and not worry about whether or not i overextended
Without anyway to abuse its cip ability i dont think mulldrifter is a solid choice at all
This deck (aka an aggro deck) as with anyother aggro deck wants card quality not card advantage, thats y looter and crusher are stronger
I will tell u rite now i have played this deck many times and even against the best in Maryland, the ones who consistently qualify on city champs
The deck has i have has had months of testing ever since krakow
I will apologize elemental man though i shouldnt have called ur deck jank without testing, as i am a firm believer in multiple optimal builds or the same archtype
I just hope my flaming did not cloud ur perception of the (what i perceive) as inherent problems with ur G/B matchups

So i am not going 2 argue with u anymore about the major flaws ur deck has as u refuse to listen
However i am going 2 say this this is a forum for U/R AGGRO!!! not U/R janky midrange
If u want 2 discuss that deck then build ur own thread and discuss it 2 ur hearts content
Now to any one who still wants 2 discuss U/R aggro:
I played several games last night versus the new decks out of the GP in Japan and i must say the warrior decks have no way 2 beat us, we just race them 2 fast
However we seem 2 have a pretty poor matchup preboard versus the revillark/entity deck
Anyone have suggestions 2 wat we can add preboard that doesnt saccrafice the consistency of this deck for one matchup?

    My decklist

the sideboard is for mannequin (the second worst matchup) and counterbased control (the worst matchup)
    threatens are for aggro

i have not been able to take it to a large tourney yet (we can thank college for hindering that) but it has done well at FNMs and has had ALOT of playtesting

    @joker:
lets b honest how many decks using goyf (especially this 1) can make a 3/4 minimum on turn 2 (incinerate range)
o and btw i play a much more solid version than the one at top i play mogg war marshall especially bcuz its a 3 for 1
I also utilize 23 land to ensure 4 mana for sower and to provide extra land for my crusher
    @elemental man:
if u draw ONE of only 4 in ur deck every game for doran then u should play my decks for me cuz that is some luck
The problem is turn 2 doran while uncommon ruins ur deck
ur pestermites become 1/1's and ironfoot plus pestermite provides CA for doran
if ur reasoning is "i have 4 cards md that deal with doran decks then ok!!!" then by ur reasoning dredge should die in extended cuz every1 can play tormods crypt and be done with it
Lord knows if a rock deck plays removal then basically u enable them to play a 3 for 1
If u guys want ill post my deck and let u guys tear it a knew one but honestly i think its solid and will probably be something i use at the next high level tourney(probably states)

    @joker:
i tested goyf but the shaky mana base 2 support him causes u 2 lose such great cards as mutavault and such
like potovin said wen he built the deck "there are 3 cards that all the winning decks are built around goyf, ironfoot, and shriekmaw... this deck chose ironfoot"
i believe that countryside crusher enables this deck just as much as goyf and is run within the colors to allow u to stress ur manland capabilities
i like threaten in the deck but 2 reasons y i hesitate to maindeck them
    1) if u dont have gargadon in ur hand or in play wen u use threaten its just attack with creature get chump blocked great i wasted my 3rd turn on needless removal or versus control decks it becomes dead card after top decks
    2) its the possible synergy that this card has that makes it great but i side them in versus aggro for the same reason that potovin removed perilous research and pongify from his deck b4 krakow, the tricks are cute but unneeded in this type of sligh deck
    @elemental man:
ur deck has no way to deal with a second turn doran on the draw unless u go for the 3 for 1... in which at that point ur midrange deck has stressed its resources so much its easy for the doran player 2 go "chameleon colossus i win?"

im not argueing mulldrifter is a bad card but wat i am saying is as discussed in the merfolk thread in an aggro deck card quality is better than card advantage
Thats y in my opinion countryside crusher and looter il-kor are better in this deck
the crusher prevents from drawing land and helps topdecks and looter il-kor is the best card drawing engine for this deck

isnt stuffy indestructable how does fury charm help???
I don't know the aggro part of the deck allows for some sick clocks to be put on ur opponent
i believe country side crusher would be ur best bet in the 3 slots ur trying to fill it does all of the things ur trying to achieve with the other three creatures (card quality and growing beater)
I still believe mogg fanatic is TO GOOD not to include in this deck
He forces the opponent to lay down doran a turn later because he is able to sac himself to kill the birds
for my deck doran is easy as by the time they lay down relevant threats (ie, doran or collosas) i have them in burn/sower range
I think the best way for this deck 2 go is aggro, yea we lose in the mannequin matchup but post board i have hammers and slithermuse for them
the decks only weakness is stuff like sonic boom and pickles but they r non existent anymore

Dude u ruined my super secret tech...
Anyways I have been testing this deck ALOT and i can tell u u need 2 fix that mana base more
Add sower of temptation and mogg war marshal those cards are 2 good not to have
Cut back 2 rift bolts remove the martyr and add 1 more land
You wont to ensure ur able to have 4 land for sower and still b able to drop countryside crusher
Add gemstone mines and faerie conclave and remove keldon (much easier 2 utilize versus control)
What no pendelhaven?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!? At least add 1
I have a misers threaten maindeck and 3 more in sb just to help the aggro matchup
In all honesty this deck is so good and consistent and adds all my favorite cards into one deck... it really is the best choice for this metagame
Test it and tell me wat u think

How could you play that at fnm if at least 8 of the cards in ur deck arent legal until febuary
And to all the other posters plz dont argue with imachampion, that man has done to much testing and perfection with this deck not to know wat hes talking about

Just a question would mirror entity be better than husk?
With entity you can pay 0 kill off ur 3 creatures and still get the body doubles ability.
Then you can play the deck with only 2 colors.
    Just a thought

i tried a deck that used llanowar and boreal for quick accel
Then also used empty the warrens and rite of flame post haze to create like 4-6 golbins turn 2
Then on turn 3 it hazed for 3 and did 21 damage
It was good but pretty inconsistent maybe you could use that idea but tweak it to make it more reliable

I haven't played this deck in a tourney(everyone around my shop now has a fetish for drafting)
But i have playtested alot and can give you some matchup results
    Control:
Solar Flare, UW Control, UB teachings-
all about the turn 2 heartwood, if you get this they are forced to damnation/wrath/board clear
If you can chord in response to a imperative spell go for mystic snake causing them to expend a counter to stop it
That leaves them open to pickles lock the following turn(you would b suprised how much that happens)
    Angelfire-
i haven't played this matchup but i assume to play the same way that peter did in mss semifinals
    Aggro:
    Gruul-
This should be easy get a early wall of some sort and chump until you resolve a wildabeest, this followed by card advantage from recurring walls(ie, bouncing the caratyd) should win you the game
    Tarmorack-
This matchup is seriously the hardest matchup
It wouldn't seem so but if you don't get a turn 2 storyteller you had better get wildabeest/oracle engine going
storyteller says "Up yours discard spells!!! Lets go 2 for 1"
    Glare, Rakdos10, MGA-
Haven't play tested but expect results of Gruul without the burn
    Rakdos-
Survive the early burn and force the topdeck
If they resolve confidant its really cool to copy it with shapeshifter and get same card advantage, walls and beests really shine in this matchup
    Combo:
    Storm-
Early storyteller to allow awnsers up to and when they go off
    Early game disruption is best
Not really much you can do in this matchup to stop them
    Project X-
    Bad matchup
They play little non-creature spells and can go aggro in a pinch
You have little disruption for them if they go off as well

    Hope that helps
