Ah, I remember this one. I think the clarification here was that an "in-between turns step" never existed in the first place; ergo, the deck shouldn't even have worked. Waaaaay back in the Mirage/Visions environment, though, the rules were still quite hazy.

Kaervek's Spite, from Pro Tour - LA, 1998.

Next: In an unrelated story, two Demonic Consultations were once cast in quick succession during a World Championships finals. What card was named for each of the Consultations, who was playing the deck, and why did this result in the player losing?

um.. wouldn't that constitute as three questions?

so.... rather than actually reading 15 pages of people bantering about things that probably do not pretain to my question.... i thought i'd ask...
How can you say that "calling atheism a religion is like calling NOT colletcing stamps a hooby" when those 2 things do not even compare... Allow to put my point this way.... choosing not to collect stamps would not be a hobby, however not collecting anything at all COULD. Athesim isn't simply not collecting stamps (let's call that Christianity), it is also not collecting reptiles(Hinduism), bugs (Pagenism{sp?}), Pez Dispenser (Bhudism),etc., etc... SO atheism is really not having a hobby at all...
just my 1.9 cents (still looking for that .1, if any1 has seen it , let me know)
PS: The representation of religions in my above statement is not to actually compare them to that hobby, i was just plugging in names... and hobbies (or rather things to colect) surprisingly i couldn't think of hobbies faster than i couldn't think of religions... :>

okay so... if i block a creauture that has trample with a banding creature and another creature, could i assign all of the damage to one creature, and since you have to deal lethal damage to all blockers for trample to aplly, would that nullify the trample? or would i HAVE to assign lethal damage to both?

No, but you don't have to. You can always block an attacking creature with several creatures, banding or not. Banding just changes it so that you (the defending player) gets to assign the damage from the attacking creature.

so this works even when you only have one creature with banding blocking with a bunch of non-banding creatures?....
Okay situations probly will help this question get answered more easily
Situation A: i have a badning creature and 26 non-banding cratures, they all block one creature, i assign damage?
Situation B (assuming a is false, which i do): i have 3 banding creatures, they all block something, i assign damage?
Siuation C (assuming B is correct, which i do): i have 2 banding, and 12 non-banding creature, my opponent assigns X damage to banding creatures, and y to non-banding creatures i decide where the X damage actually goes on those creatures (which is, in a sense, a band, just not with the +1)? or do i assign all the damage (making A true)

march of the machines+Mycosynth Lattice= all lands become 0/0's, i was watching a game and a debate came up as to whether or not you could use the mana from a freshly played land before SBE's make it go away.. the arguement is that mana is faster than everything, my arguement is that I'm not really sure it's faster than SBE's so is mana (abilities) faster than SBE's? also with auras- they become creatures enchanting nothing correct or do they have to be attached in order to be in play?

you remove the tokens from the playing field... and in theory "put them in your hand" but as soon as they reach there, they disappear, so it's perfectly acceptable for you to just put them into their little storage area (and in fact probly expected) however, if there were an affect that triggered off of a creature going into your hand, then you would be able to use that trigger.
