I have a Bridge from Below in my Graveyard and my opponent attacks with his Grizzly Bears. I block with Stinkweed Imp. Would the Imp's ability destroy the Bears and remove my bridge from the game before the Imp is put into the graveyard?
Whenever I see a deck with white and blue ...
although it would cause a rather large paradigm shift, Reality Acid and Gating works pretty well. Though it wouldn't really be the instant speed that gating is, and you'd probably have to run, like, Dream Shifter [a 1/5 for 2 mana that bounces a permanent you control] or Drake Familiar.
To add to the people who're advocating Mangara, he rocks, ESPECIALLY with gating. Maybe you could throw him in instead of Calciderm ... except if Calciderm actually works with your gatings [don't they target?].
The previous suggestion of Azorius Æthermage would be funny, though not necessarily competitive. I'd definitely play it though - been looking for a use for that card for a while.
Regarding Reality Acid...It seems like a fun idea, but I think it adds too much clutter to the deck. I already have bouncing of creatures and I don't think I have room in the deck for Reality Acid, Dream Stalker, and Drake Familiar.
Mangara does indeed rock, but I'm not sure what to put him in for. Calciderm is way too good in this deck to take out. The creatures are small and Calciderm is one of my big conditions. He does indeed work with gating as well, as the gating creatures do not specify a target. So when he's down to his last counter you can bounce him back to your hand and start over with a new 5/5. I was considering taking out Azorious Guildmage, since she has no real synergy with the deck, but she can be so good in a lot of games, I don't want to take her out. Not to mention taking her out would be really bad for my curve.
I was thinking maybe:
-4 Rune Snag
-1 Azorious Guildmage
+3 Mana Leak
+2 Mangara of Corondor
Regarding AEthermage: It has obvious synergy with the deck, but it just seems a little slow. Not to mention it is so fragile, a 1/1 for 3. (So is Mangara, but I like Mangara more.)
Hmmm, I never thought of Mangara before, that's actually very interesting. I'm going to definatly see how it works thanks.
And by the way, I tried out Grand Arbiter and he's sooo good in this deck. I'm going to probably replace Sky Hussar with him. Soul Warden was OK, but I didn't really see any place in this deck for it.
Grand Arbiter: I'm planning on trying him out. I like the cost it takes off of creatures and works well with gating. Thanks for that one.
AEthermage: Cute, but I don't really like it. Seems a bit mana intensive if you ask me.
Stormscape Familiar: Nice as well, but I prefer arbiter.
Soul Warden: I'll try her out, although I've never really been a fan of the card.
Momentary Blink: No. Kills Court Hussar and Herald, can't target calciderm, doesn't work that well with gating creatures. There's really no point of putting it in this deck.
Basically use gating creatures to:
Get CIP effects from Court Hussar and Herald
Refil Counters on Calciderm or Javelineers
Return Sky Hussar for his Forecast.
Not to mention the normal uses of gating creatures, like saving a creature for combat, or surprising an opponent.
I can hardly play a full game on MTGO anymore. The play is a lot harder, because you often get the opponent who will sacrifice his fetchland and quickly start searching his library, without giving you a chance to stifle it.
Plus, I've yet to be donated a n00b token on MTGO.
More like they aren't allowed to out and out lie like that.
They never have.
I do remember being told that Coldsnap was an old set that was just randomly dusted off from an old cabinet and was printed.
But I do believe that the black borders are in 10th. This wouldn't be something to "bluff" about, it would be kind of dumb, because its a good idea. If next week they say "No way lol" it would just anger players.
Congratulations on your 5-0!
Definatly the statue that allows you to "build your army of Akromas".
Hope its reasonably costed, I would sure like to attack with a bunch of Akroma Saprolings.

Haha, funny. Kind of weird, but funny. But hey, Hardaway deserves it.
I don't know if anyone has been noticing or not, but I've been really struggling to find time to visit the coffehouse lately.
I'm trying my best, just wanted to let you all know that.
EDIT: Saranthed by Omna. That's weird, sorry to hear about that. Hope all goes well.
4 repeals are not neccesary. They can be really good, but 3 is really all you need.
And although I prefer 2 Willbender, most builds only play 1. How many do you play?
A special thanks to MaRo of course.
Anyways, has anyone done any extensive testing with this deck? It seems promising to me, but I haven't seen any results for it so far.
Why Bladestorm?
There is no Blade Sliver, nor Storm Cards.

I'm 99.5% sure this is real.
