Just wanted to report... A few weeks back I played The_King's list, which is posted in this primer, and won my first event! There were about 20 players. I played several different Collected Company-based decks and a Vampire tribal deck... Chalice/SSG/Blood Moon were the all-stars... I took guilty pleasure in the Resto/Kiki infinite combo, even though I admittedly would have lost the three different games I combo-ed out on otherwise... but that's what it is there for, I guess. I was a long-time (6 months of Modern so far :)) Skred player and found that where Skred is lacking these lockdown decks make up for.
I have been testing Shaheen Soorani's Blink Riders deck on MTGO, but I find that it is too slow for the majority of the meta... Thoughts? I am also interested in the forum's thoughts on Atomic's R/W Kiki Ponza list featured by Gerry Thompson. I figured they were related enough to discuss here and I am curious what decks listed on this forum it's readers/contributors would play instead of either deck. Thanks!
