Good idea, I'll do just that! I'll tweak that lifegain a bit though.
??? - 1GU
Legendary Planeswalker - ???
+1 - Gain 2 life. Exile up to one land card from your hand with a Seed counter. If you do, draw a card.
-1 - Create a 1/1 Green and Blue Plant creature token with flying.
-5 - Create a 1/1 Green and Blue Plant creature token with flying for each land card you own in exile with a Seed counter on it.
3
Also now I've finally decided on how to show the Self-Grafting aspect.
???, Self-Grafter - 2GU
Legendary Planeswalker - ???
When ???, Self-Grafter enters the battlefield, exile any number of land cards from your graveyard with seed counters. Put that many loyalty counters on ???.
+0 - Create a 1/1 Green and Blue Plant creature token with flying.
-X - Add X mana in any combination of colors. IF X is 7 or more, add twice that much mana instead.
3
You're right on a number of things. Accordingly, I'll change some things. Also, sheesh I forgot to get the mana symbols and add "Legendary" to the typeline.
??? - 1GU
Legendary Planeswalker - ???
+1 - Exile up to one land card from your hand with a Seed counter. If you, do gain 3 life and draw a card.
-1 - Create a 1/1 Green and Blue Plant creature token with flying.
-5 - Create a 1/1 Green and Blue Plant creature token with flying for each land card you own in exile with a Seed counter on it.
3
???, Exobotanist - 4GU
Legendary Planeswalker - ???
When ???, Exobotanist enters the battlefield, search your library for any number of basic land cards then exile them with Seed counters. Shuffle.
+1 - Put a land card you own from exile with a Seed counter onto the battlefield tapped.
-X - Create X 1/1 Green and Blue Plant creature tokens with flying.
4
Would limited Mana Severance and 4 tokens be an okay rate at 4GU? Hmm.
I say "eh" to your criticisms on the last card because, well, rulings nightmares aren't super-relevant for fan-made cards and it still requires setup with other cards for those broken shenanigans you mention. Still, I just realized I'm not satisfied with this card as is since it doesn't properly convey the self-grafting concept thus it's changing anyway.
???, Self-Grafter - 2GU
Legendary Planeswalker - ???
Whenever a land card enters the battlefield under your control, put a Loyalty counter on each ??? Planeswalker you control.
uh give me a minute to decide on abilities lol

because I frigging want one haha. Keep in mind that those are designed to work together.

The last loyalty ability is a reference to this so I ask that you keep this in mind and that I'm not inclined to change it.

Is this wordy? Yep! Do I care? Eh, not really.
The idea is that this dude travels around to other planes to collect plants to grow in a special location, then experiment on himself. Think something like this but sapient and magical. I plan to keep them solidly GU, btw.
edit: removed a line because I realized that one of them didn’t need more than that. Also, some additional lore I came up with! This dude is able to create cuttings of themselves with a small portion of their Spark. The cuttings are still part of them but their Sparklets lock them to a two particular Planes they can travel between - their home Plane and another. The (so to speak!) Main Branch is accordingly unable to travel to Planes their cuttings are appointed to. This can only be fixed by grafting their cuttings back on. The goal is to collect as many plants as possible, cultivate them, then create hybrids. Those hybrid plants have many uses, including combat.
I would have guessed it was Witherbloom Day judging by the way they were moving through the colors, but I guess they always save black/green for last just to make me wait longer.
Same, but apparently Witherbloom is somewhat relevant to the story, since apparently their knowledge of life and death are the reasons why Liliana is in Strixhaven on the first place. Maybe they moved Witherbloom to the last day to be able to provide a steady supply of story spotlights.
Witherbloom is also the last college they presented during the preview season launch show, so it's more a weird arbitrary order.
WotC is doing this in alphabetical order, basically. They did the same thing with Tarkir clans, what was it five years ago?
This is WAY better than Precursor Golem in the fact that an opponents Vandalblast is not a one sided nuke....without them paying overload. No tokens true but way less things that bite in ones rear.
It's whenever you cast an instant or sorcery.... won't be able to target their one-shot Vandalblast.
Due to Precursor Golem's ability, Vandalblast would be copied with each copy targeting another Golem the controller of Vandalblast didn't control
Wasn't the main issue with Companion that the card was always available and could be put in your hand for no cost, pre-nerf? Learn and Lessons seem okay.
I would've thought Dragonlord Kolaghan made for a pretty okay general given the mass haste, with the last text line being basically trinket text in EDH
Frankly, I was wary of the effect given its inherent potential as a combo engine but considering the setup necessary I’m thinking of dropping it to a 3 mana 3/3. Maybe tack on Hexproof.
Name pending 2BRG
Legendary Creature - Elementsl Shaman
Sacrifice a permanent: you gain 1 life. If this ability has resolved four or more times this turn, add 1 mana of any color.

Neat arts, hopefully they deliver good cards and intesting mechanics again in this set.
Again we were mistaken in the past but the set box art screams snow lands return.
I can't imagine how disappointed everybody would be if they don't have snow mechanics in a Viking themed set. Would be a massive flavour failure for sure, but it does look like snow is coming
Like Zendikar without Eldrazi. Yep I went there.
Zendikar is much more interesting without Eldrazi. Yep I went there.

As for the second card, take a look at Mana Severance and Selective Memory. Again, I'll tweak it though.

Ghirapur has artifice, yes, but the rest of the Plane? Not as much, and then there's the Aether to consider.
