They are worse than filter lands, worse than shock duals, worse than fetchlands. May be worse than painlands.
They aren't too bad in a 2 color deck, I guess.
I love the mindsets of people now because of the 5 color environment. I wish Blood moon was still legal. People would actually appreciate these new lands if it were still around since too many nonbasic lands are being played.
People are complaining about Mog Fanatic. I'm really saddened that one of the best white cards for creatures Ghostway is now just a pile of junk because of the fact that you can't stack damage.
The rest of the changes, mana burn nonwithstanding (and I bought the last 4 from SCG as soon as I read the article) the changes don't really change how the game works. Its all sematics.
The combat thing is a massive shift that invalidates many cards while not opening up any new ground.
I honestly am running my boycott campaign. Though I know most people will not follow in my steps. I agree with most of these rules. But I don't like how they changed the combat phase rules at all. It kills my decks which use a lot of shenanigans in all and are very casual in all. I think that it makes it simplier.
Stone land:
Stoneland cannot tap for colored mana when there is a stone counter on stoneland
T, remove stone counter: Add 1 mana to your manapool
T: Put a stone Coutner: Add R or B to your manapool
I'm going to come out and say that Cauldron Haze is mediocre in limited and unplayable in constructed. Most of the time it's worse than Reknit, and how often does that make your decklist?
Regardless, it's a neat, well-designed card. And cheers to our rumor captains!!!
I will disagree with your opinion with the fact that this card revives not one, but multiple creatures. Can be played in any deck that runs white or black because it is such a cheap card. Will run very well in manikin decks since you can get rid of manikin counters and they will come back into play and have triggered effects come off.
This card has much more versatility than Ghostway in my opinion and will see play.
White Strafe - I like it. It's a much better choice then Shock would be IMO, because if it could target players, it wouldn't feel white to me. This cards fits with 'order'.
I don't think this card will be played in constructed. It's too narrow. I think it would be better to play red for the burn.
In limited however this removal is just as good always.
Sleeping Sliver? - I don't know about this card. Defender is a major drawback for slivers, but drawing cards is good. For 4 mana in don't think this is a very efficient creature. The card drawing ability is too good to use this card as a anti sliver card. Maybe if there is a 'Mystic Snake sliver' this will get played.
Black card - Nice card. For 1 mana this card can have an amazing effect. This card is very nice in black discard against any combo deck. In standard you can remove Dragons or Dragonstorms after letting them discard it. It can stop reanimation and way more. I think the split second is quite relevant too. I wouldn't be surprised if this card shows up in Standard and Extended, although maybe in the sideboard.
Actually, why not just stop Dragonstorm by removing the stupid ritual or Simian Blah Blah Spirit Guide from the game. This kills Dragonstorm completely and greatly hurts Psychatog decks. Also, this kills dredge.

I already complained. I usually only post when I feel like I need to say something. Other than that. I stay on the downlow.
Legendary Creature- Faerie
Can only be blocked by creatures with flying
2W:symu::symtap: Remove Mespirit from the game until the end of the turn.
2/2

I don't know, 5 sudden deaths seems like good enough removal for me.
I don't know two dual lands and a Birds would probably be worth my money.
Ninjas would have shadow.
Edit: This card is also really good because you have discard in black.
2nd Edit: This with Ghost Quarter or LD = p'wnage. Bye Bye, duals.
