Ok quick additional question, if I have multiple Heartstone out, would that affect anything? Like say I wanted to make X=6, would my cost then be 2 if I had 4 Heartstone out?
When did airing a grievance of yours become trolling?
I guess I'm in the minority of having so many cards that have so much synergy with eachother. It just gets boring to me. When I first started in Torment, there wasn't much tribal to be seen(I'm not speaking tournament btw, never have never will) and you had a random mix of cards that worked more by abilities than by what their creature type was.
Lately there's just so much creature type stuff I just get easily bored. Oh look, I'll make a B deck. Well it's either going to be Zombies or Vampires these days. G is 98% elf cards, R is 99% Goblins.......I'd just like some more variety I suppose.
Can't seem to make a deck these days without it having to resort to tribal elements.
Nowadays, you cant play a Magic deck without it being tribal in some way. Whatever happened to the days around Invasion where it was slightly tribal but was more just a mix of cards without a tribal theme being attached?
I just get tired of making a deck and majority of the cards are 1 creature type.
Speaking as a woman, seeing this card was the most disturbing part of spoiler season
Garruk is standing between Liliana's legs. He is holding her down and physically forcing her legs apart.
Neither of those is required for a fight to the death. In fact, without that part of the poses, I would LIKE the card as a nice, equal fight between 2 angry planeswalkers going "rawr" at each other.
But as it stands...it looks like how the 30 seconds before many, many real-world rapes look.
To tell a story, violence does not have to be sexual violence. Triumph of Cruelty does not show Liliana having her zombies do anything even vaguely sexualized to Garruk -- just trying to claw him apart and eat his brains, which could happen to either gender in the Magic universe
As Jackie Lee posted about this Planeswalker duel, "I don't care if her skull is cracked open, but I'd rather not see his leg in her crotch while it happens."
Where on earth in that pic is Garruk FORCING her legs apart!? It's more like she got slammed and started to struggle and he leaned forward for his last strike on her, which just happened to be slightly above her knee's.
Without context, I still see this as a pic where a guy is about to beat the tar out of a chick whom he was fighting and has the upper hand on(as evident with the ball of energy in Lilliana's hand). Cause obviously Garruk looks pissed.
It's not like the pic show's part of her top ripped where her breast would be(ala Janet Jackson) with Garruk having shreds in his hands and Lilliana having a worried look on her face without a fireball in her hand. THEN the card would be troublesome.
Ok it's been a couple years since I played Magic but I try and keep up with the rules. I know combat was simplified and made to where combat damage is assigned and dealt at the same time, with no in-between for doing abilities.
My question is does this affect combat damage?
My friend had attacked with a Kamahl, Pit Fighter and a guy blocked it. Then my friend tapped Kamahl for 3 damage to ping off another guy. So, does Kamahl still do his 6 damage to the blocking creature since he tapped?
Thanks!
Ok since Archon has an X in its amount and Heartstone can't reduce mana abilities below 1, does that mean Archon's ability still cost 1?
Or does it cost 0 due to you having to pay X and Heartstone reducing that cost by 1?
Actually, I'm quite serious. I'm never impressed with phoenix cards.

I have many cards, but none of these rare duals to compensate the mana base. So I use the poor man's duals and some creature's for multi mana.
But HOW does one actually approach making a 3 color deck?
In green things likeHarrow help, but outside of that you have to rely on artifacts and creatures. Then you need a win condition of sorts.
I just cant figure out a deck for a 3 color.

But my question has been answered(the right one) nonetheless.
Thanks a bunch!
