I find that the only ways to really lose to infect are basically losing turn 2 to a huge pump or Inkmoth Nexus. Having the one Ghost Quarter is great and honestly I serach it up if I am worried at all. I Sideboard in about 8 cards in total and it really changes the dynamic of the match.

    4 Kitchen Finks
    2 Day of Judgement
    1 Baneslayer Angel
    1 Tectonic Edge

Has anyone else looked at this list or tested it?.....

    1 Khalni Garden
    3 Misty Rainforest
    2 Mosswort Bridge
    1 Murmuring Bosk
    1 Mutavault
    4 Razorverge Thicket
    3 Verdant Catacombs
    4 Windbrisk Heights
    2 Wooded Bastion
    25 lands

    2 Birds of Paradise
    2 Cloudgoat Ranger
    2 Devoted Druid
    4 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
    4 Kozilek's Predator
    4 Nest Invader
    4 Noble Hierarch
    4 Primeval Titan

    2 other spells
    Sideboard

    4 Arcane Santum
    3 Glacial Fortress
    3 Drowned Catacombs
    3 Marsh Flats
    3 Island
    3 Plains
    2 Creeping Tar Pit
    2 Celestial Colonnade
    2 Swamp

I kind of want to change this a bit. It is working fine atm but cutting a Tar Pit and adding a Borderpost seems good.

4 Wall of Omens- I really often end up pathing this to ramp.
4 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn- The win condition.

3 Esper Charm- I was running 4 for a long time. You never really make people discard and the only time you would destroy oring was on jace which you should have brainstormed already or on emrakul after attacking and you have already won.

3 Day of Judgement- I have never wanted more than 3.

4 Path to Exile- Mythic is too good to not have 4. As I mentioned I do path Wall.

4 Jace the Mind sculpter- Great

    4 Brilliant Ultimatum- GOod

4 See Beyond- I like it a lot as finding the Brilliant is necessary for you to win.

3 Time Warp- I ran 4 for a long time but it's not really necessary.

1 Liliana Vess- I tried 2 and when it works it REALLY works but 1 has been perfect.

1 Duress- I cut 1 esper charm for a 1 of duress. Sometimes you need some information on their hand before you go all in on them not having maindeck negate.

    Sideboard
    4 Celestial Purge
    3 Duress
    2 Negate
    2 Doom Blade
    2 Kor Firewalker
    1 Identity Crisis
    1 Liliana Vess

Just looking for some suggestions or comments if you have any.

I played a list similar to what Black and them put up just with spreading seas and jace md at a small tournament yesterday.

Round 1 vs WW won 2-0
Round 2 vs Chapin UW Lost 1-2
Round 3 vs Mythic Won 2-0
Round 4 vs Grixis Aggro Draw

    Cut to top 8

Round 5 vs Mono Red won 2-0
Round 6 vs Polmorph UW won 2-1
Round 7 vs Jund we had agreed to split before the tourney so it didn't matter who won so we split.

I will ask without reading previous forums, What is everyone playing as an answer to anathemancer? Runed Halo gets hit by Maelstrom Pulse so I'm not a big fan and Thought Hemorage Taps you out for a turn while they resolve a spell.

    Thanks

I've been following block to try be able to following the PT easier. I have been testing 5cc and have came up with a list that I is just a house. I may post it soon on www.ogresgames.com depending on if the guys I know going to the PT care to look at it as an option. I will say however that it uses a very junk rare to create crazy card advantage Smile

    Patrick Chapin 2nd Worlds 2007
He is NOT one of the top players in the world. Whoever said that should be disappointed in themselves.

    Kenji Tsumara Former POTY
Hasn't played in a while and when he has nothing of note.

    Kenny Oberg
If he's not playing Tezzeret then chances are you have a good shot.

    Michael Jacob
    Getting much better

    Carlos Ramao(won worlds in 03 or 04)
    03 or 04......

    Sam Black
    Doing good of late.

    Steve Sadin
Most overrated player in the game.

    Mike Hron(won PT)
He won a limited PT and was the only red drafter that the table so his deck was insane. Not taking away from his accomplishment, just saying.

I can't believe you didn't name Gerry Thompson as he is one of the better pro's who plays at ptq's. His downfall is that he plays ptq's are if they are pro tours and his opponents will play the right cards and make the good plays. I've seen him lose a few times assuming his opponent was better than they were.

    I'm for the pro's playing in PTQ's.

Probably my favorite point in this is that the Apostle Paul once said,"If Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation has been in vain and your faith has been in vein." If you take a couple different Bibles-
    KJV- King James Version
    NRSV- New Revised Standard Version
    NIV- New International Version

Go through the resurrection story in each of these versions and you will find some very obvious differences. Just a couple:

What time did they visit the tomb?

Matthew: as it began to dawn (28:01)
Mark: Very early in the morning...at the rising of the sun(16:2,KJV) When the sun has risen(nrsv) Just after Sunrise (NIV)
Luke: Very Early in the morning(24:1 KJV) at early Dawn (NRSV)
John: When it was yet (20.1)

Was the Tomb opened when they arrived?

    Matthew: No (28:2)
    Mark: Yes(16:4)
    Luke: Yes(24.2)
    John: Yes(20.1)

Could Jesus Be touched after the resurrection?

    Matthew: Yes (28:9)
John: No (20:17) and Yes (20:27)

Did Jesus stay on earth for more than a day?

Mark: No (16:14 and 20:19)it all happened on Sunday
Luke: No (24:50-52) it all happened on Sunday
John: Yes, at least 8 days (20:26, 21:1-22)
Acts: Yes, at least 40 days (1:3)

I got most of this information from Godless, Dan Barker.
How could someone when noticing such obvious distinction take any of these events for truth?

All in all. The burden of proof lies on those who make the statement not those disproving by lack of evidence. I, being an athiest, do not believe there
is a god as it is unproved. Asking me to prove there is no god is going against what I already stated. I can't prove there is no god just as no Christian can prove there to be one.

I have recently gotten into watching this show on a weekly basis. While I'm still trying to catch up on all the old seasons I have found it quite entertaining. I have been reading a lot of stuff on www.nicoleslost.com and it's really helped me. I would be interested to hear any kind of theories you have or if you just have comments about the show!

    Thanks,

I will admit I didnt read all of your posts before typing this. I think a lot of your arguements are ok and dont feel the need to really expand atm. I would just like to say anyone who has questioned faith or is just looking for a good book read Godless by Dan Barker- I loved this book!

I want to point out that I know nothing about Legacy so my opinion does not matter. I play Ext pretty exclusive, Take a look at my article on www.ogresgames.com if you like Ext. It's much better I think.
