I fail to see what that has to do with anything going on here. What negative stereotype does that reinforce? What real-world group does it harm? What underrepresented group does it encourage not to play the game? What policy does it violate?
It was just stated to enforce the fact that as a society we have gotten to the point where instead of freedom of expression we are stuck with stating something "safe" or "non-controversial" in order to not offend someone.
Another example would be for me to get offended every time I see someone who is "husky" in an art because I am overweight lol. I am fat, I understand that I am not gonna get offended every time I see a giant on a card with a big stomach.
OK, that is a lot closer. On the one hand, there's not really much sexualized about that except for the woman in the middle, but on the other hand, if you swap the genders it does come out looking an awful lot like the playmat.
So I say we find out whether WotC considers Soul Collector's art to be the sort of thing they would consider printing these days.
Someone on twitter needs to ask Elaine about that card and see if it would get printed again you are right. Because if the answer is yes then it is classified as being sexist towards men. But once again its just the sins of our fathers that make us still pay till this day.

You can drive across France in less time than it would take to drive across Ontario. Canada needs more GPs
The fact that Canada is getting a GP is a good sign they probably will get more for the future. What Magic will most likely do tho, is to continue to put GPs near the border of Canada and US such as in New York or like Minnesota to encourage players from both countries.
Mad props to Wizards for scheduling the last US GP during the weekend immediately following Thanksgiving.
Because, people really need to be traveling away from their families during the holidays to go play a GP...
Actually thanksgiving is on the last thursday in November so it will be the weekend before thankgiving, and I am so stoked because San Antonio, a "small town" compared to other Texas cities, is getting a GP. Lived here my whole life and now I get to see SA host a GP.
If you compare Garruk in the video capture that shows Gideon in M12, you can see the Garruk has a different color background, its hard to make out, but the little sliver of Garruk does not have the moss of a tree in the upper left hand corner. Compare original Garruk to that pic
So I opened up two boxes of M11 today and as my friend and I opened packs we started pulling the same rares. First it was Fauna Shaman, then a couple Leylines, then after 3/4 of the box we noticed that almost all the rares pulled were the same.
After going back and looking at card for card in the rares and mythics, We noticed that there was a 3 rare differential between my rares pulled and a ZERO differential in my mythics.
I will update tomorrow with the rares that were pulled from each box.

hmmm i dont think you should take out Howling mine, ever lol. Its the reason the deck combos so well. But thats just my opinion and i dont mind the list but if you keep it.
I was the player who played the Nicol Bolas in Time Sieve and it was not a joke and in fact very serious. Ask any player there and I was looking for it for like an hour. Anyways tho I just wanted people to know that before moving on.
Bolas isnt hard to cast and to some people he is a win more card, however when your opponent has caused you to discard ALL of your open the vaults or has countered them, he leads up for the nuts play of just -9 win the game. Thopter foundry is self explanatory so no need to dive into that.
Also I did not get 9th place, I got 21st because I scooped in James Wise. We both were in 9th and 10th place and we knew that who evers deck was better designed for the top8 we were going to put it in to crush the tournament. There was a Vegevine naya and jund, both of which are better match ups for his control deck, so I scooped him in but first we had fun messin with the judges.
I really was X-1 but I drew with a friend round 3 to at least allow a chance for his and my decks to both top8. I beat every control deck 2-0 and even a 12 card side board wasnt enough to stop bolas.
My last point about bolas is that he allowed me to get around both a triple pithing needle and an eldrazi monument, something no other time sieve deck could do. Just saying.
Try him out and you wont be displeased. He is easy to cast you run 8 cards to do it, and he is a 1 of so its not like he will pop up in your hand that often without being the nuts.
Thats my input. I won 9 packs and James gave me his box for winning the tourney, not bad I should say.
41 hits of eldrazi in the set. Im thinking there are 3 main eldrazi, and then 2 underling eldrazi at common and uncommon for the eldrazi. That brings up 9 of the 41 hits. Which leaves 32 hits. Then there are spells that reference eldrazi at 1 instance and some that have a creature type eldrazi and also have it in the text. so i am thinking 2 eldrazi drone or whatever in each color. So that brings it up to around 19. Then a cycle of spells that create tokens so another 5 hits so 24 eldrazi. 17 more tho, who knows.
