With regards to the EDF, I guess that during the tournament I wasn't actively comparing it to DOH to see which would have been better. I had 2 in my main deck, cutting one DOH down to 3 copies and using the flex slot that this deck normally has to make room for the two copies. Although we indeed are not a tempo deck, I do think EDF provides an effect that is nice to have in the deck. Sure, you can simple assemble the displacer + drowner lock, which is why I still have 3 copies of DOH, but trying out the EDF wasn't too high of a cost since a already had 2 skypawners in my list plus 2 reshapers, which were enough sac fodder for the emerge. Another thing I like'd about having the EDFs in the list is that they allow us to upgrade any of the mana dorks while paying for two mana of the emerge cost (tapping for U and discounting 1 from the emerge).

Anyways, I'll try to test it out a little bit more with the comparison to DOH in my mind. EDF is a new card and I think it still remains to be seen whether or not it's worth it's inclusion.

I think the spellskite topic is very hard to conclude. Its just a card that serves many different roles.

Regarding Blessed Alliance, I think Im gonna give it a try. Seems like it could be a very useful sb card. Like Harakesh said, it helps against Burn, but also helps against boggles (obviously), and I even think that it might be useful against infect which normally attacks with only one infect creature.

The thing with spellskite is that is very meta-dependant. If Infect/Boggles are not very present at your meta, you can consider moving them to the sb. I played against 2 infetc players yesterday, so they were pretty good for me, but speaking objectively i did sideboard them out quite a lot. They "combo" very well with displacer, but that is only relevant against mathups were we are favored already (jund, abzan, jeskai nahiri, etc). Basicaly, like i said, it depends on the meta you expect. The best thing about having the spellskites in the main is that if they're good in the mathup, you can use your stirrings to find them even in G1.

Hey guys, long time reader here. I've been playing Eldrazis for a couple of months now (basically since Pascal Maynard made Top4 with Bant Edlrazis at the GP). After trying different versions, and losing in three in-a-row PPTQ finals including yesterday's PPTQ (feels bad man), I've just concluded that Bant is way more powerful than the other color combinations.

On the topic of how to configure the sideboard, I personally like the versatile sb like the one that won the SCG open yesterday. I didn't have Worship in my sb, but I do think it would have helped me a lot to have 1 or 2 copies in the sb. I think that sb are probably locked around 6-7 cards, then it is up to everyone to complete it.

For me, the must include sb cards are:
    2-3x Graffdiger's Cage
    2-3x Engineered Explosives
2x Coounters (either negate or stubborn denial)

I know many people might not agree with me, but that's normal when talking about a non-linear deck such as eldrazis.

PD: Elder Deep-Fiend is AWESOME. I had 2 copies in my sb yesterday and man they were worth it.

Hey guys. I'm playing in GP Bologna this weekend and I would love to hear some insight regarding the Eldrazi matchup. So far I've only played once against it since in my LGS there arent that many. Any tips would be appreciated.
