Played the deck with some success today at the local 62 man modern tuesday - went 4-0 with mostly 2-0 matches except against a bring to light deck and a grishoulbrand deck where i went 2-1.
Never played the deck before so I found it really hard to determine if you expedition for a tron piece or eldrazi piece. I would alsmost say that you fetch a temple first expedition and then fetch whatever you need on the second, and a tron piece or eye on the third.
Regarding Yale Congs deck, why does he have ensnaring bridge in the side - he cant do anything behind one? does he exile it when he has established a board with ulamog etc and swing in for an alpha strike?
That would be my guess on using Bridge. Interesting tactic. It is very challenging knowing what land to fetch. What is in my hand determines which direction I need to go. Look at casting costs and what turns you would like to cast them and make a judgement call. Sometimes its obvious what to fetch but other times it is much more difficult. Maybe someone else can chime in.
Interesting list, looks more TronDrazi than EldraziTron if you catch my meaning. I have actually been thinking about adding Batterskull as well. Running all those copies of the Chromatics, SS and Stirrings eats up a lot of card slots. I'm sticking colorless but good luck.
Hmm. Not sure. Doesn't hurt to try but my first reaction is to think it waters the deck down a bit too much. Especially with only 6 racks. I'd also think Path to Exile would be a better call over Myth Realized. I can see you spending time and mana to build up those counters and one timely removal spell and down in flames you go. Again, give it a shot, see what you think but I think it may be more hurt than good on first impression. Let us know your results.
Sounds great, thanks. Just watched the Round 11 matchup with UR Eldrazi. Game one he had close to the nut draw and much like Affinity when your opponent lays his/her hand down on the table, its hard to battle back from that. Not tronning in either game was also some bad luck as well. Besides the small misplay, you did about all you could have done. Sometimes the cards don't fall your way. Can you remember what besides the Ratchet Bombs you boarded in in Game two? I know thats a lot of games to remember. And again, thanks for work on the primer. I'll also put my 2 cents in for Conduit of Ruin, it really does a lot of work. It becomes another Eye of Ugin for that first Eldrazi and it lets you tutor up that big Eldrazi. Sitting around waiting to top deck a big boy (Ulamog, Kozilek or Sower) hurts. Glad you are including it. I'm sticking with my 4 MD. Best wishes on Detroit. If we can help here let us know.
Time to buy him his first Magic deck.
He placed 14th at the Detroit GP with his EldraziTron deck.

I believe Zach went 5-4 and didn't make day 2.
Still would like to hear his thoughts.
Will post up his list if I can find it.
Thoughts in 8rack? Strictly a SB card? Have at it.

The deck is labelled as Colorless Eldrazi, but it is definitely an EldraziTron deck.
