Sorry for the lack of reply. Life has been busy for most of us.
I just wanted to send an update that myself and another are working on a maelstrom wanderer primer for 1v1 commander. It'll most likely be geared toward the WOTC 1v1 30 life rules. When the banlist is released, I'd imagine it'll take him and myself about a week to get a full primer up.
Someone on facebook told me that Sandwurm isn't a good replacement for Jungle Weaver because the reach is too important. IMO Reach is so negligible that it basically does nothing. Delver isn't even a creature in the 50 most used creatures in modern. Sandwurm > Jungleweaver
So Wurm replaces Jungle Weaver right? and Desert Carodon and the Horror are basically musts right? The horror seems really really strong for this deck.
What would the reaction be if WOTC allowed 1v1 edh to have sideboards? It's a thought that came to me yesterday and TBH I think that would be very exciting.
I use to play duel commander at my LGS. Back when life total was 30, we'd get anywhere between 30 to 15 people if the out of towners came to play as well. But after the 20 life total rule change, interest dwindled to the point where all of the game stores within an hour of me (3 of them total) stopped hosting/firing duel commander at all. Does anyone else believe that the life total change stifled the growth of the format to a place that can't be recovered from? I've seen older posts suggesting that tournaments have decreased since the LP change. Just curious on everyone else's opinion.

This was posted earlier today. 30 life for 1v1? A NEW BANLIST TO GO WITH IT AS WELL! What does everyone think!?
