DementedKirby posted a message on Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest - abusing the stack with a plethora of strategies!Uchuulon seems like a really fun card. While Necrogenesis has the advantage of being activated whenever you want for just 2, Uchuulon triggering only at the beginning of the end step would be the only drawback. Because once you start multiplying them, the effect is going to be exponential. You're definitely going to pretty quickly be running out of creatures to exile from graveyardsPosted in: Multiplayer Commander Decklists -

- Draugr Necromancer - If you want to steal your opponents creatures, this'll do it. They're constantly sacrificing creatures so not only will this exile them instead, but we can then replay them afterwards. Not only to use them against our opponents but as potential sacrifice fodder as well.
- Dream Devourer - For just 1B, we have a creature that essentially reduces the casting of our nonland cards without fortell (which is so far none of them). We can then recast them later on. So while we end up paying the same cost in the end, we can empty our hand if necessary and then cast the spells for cheaper when we can.
- Eradicator Valkyrie - It's ability requires attacking to be able to use it, but it's a 4/3 flyer so we'll definitely have someone to swing into. Being able to have the entire table sacrifice a creature each turn is busted in this deck. This is like another Rankle.
- Tergrid, God of Fright - Perhaps the best Kaldheim card for this deck. With all of the edict effects in the deck we're going to be stealing practically everything if we have Tergrid on the battlefield. She's a no-brainer her. Her first half if the most important one since Tergrid's Lantern isn't as busted as the front half. She's an auto-include here.
- Tergrid's Shadow - A more expensive Barter in Blood but it'll cost as much if we foretell it and it has the bonus of being at instant speed. Binding of the Old Gods - For 4 mana it can destroy a nonland permanent and then ramp us a nonbasic forest (if we want) and then gives deathtouch to all of our creatures. While all 3 abilities are great, they're not really that impacting with the current version of this deck.
- Sarulf, Realm Eater - This is a great way to take advantage of all the sacrifices that are happening. Then, if anyone has a more menacing boardstate than us, we can reset Sarulf to reset the table, all while leaving itself and lands behind. It's bound to get ridiculously huge with this deck. Unfortunately it has no built-in evasion.

- Witch of the Moors - This would be an autoinclude in the deck if not for there only being 3 cards in the entire deck that gain me life .
- Allosaurus Shepherd - It makes half of my spells uncounterable for just G and it is itself uncounterable as well. Unfortunately, I can't take full advantage of it in this deck even though there are 7 elves in it and Freyalise creates elves.
- Branching Evolution - Would be a great way to have redundancy for effects like Doubling Season. However, the deck used to run Corpsejack Menace which was cut because it was winmore. So this enchantment would probably be the same thing. That being said, both it and Corpsejack Menace are great for Mazirek for anyone who wants to take stompy to the next level.

- Goremand - It's essentially a 6-costed Fleshbag Marauder that sticks around since you sacrifice your creature as part of its cost and not its effect. It's also a 5/5 with flying and trample, so there's that to consider, too.
- Witch's Cauldron - It's basically a Vampiric Rites where you have to tap it, making it worse. It's also an artifact which is easier to destroy than enchantments.
- Elder Gargaroth - Not only is this creature amazing in a vacuum, but pumped with a ton of +1/+1 counters makes it oppressive as both a beater and blocker.
- Invigorating Surge - I'd rather this type of effect to be recurrable. It's not bad, but cards like Kalonian Hydra are better.
- Twinblade Assassins - If it triggered at the end of every turn then it'd definitely go in the deck. Unfortunately, at just the end of my turn not so much.

- Bastion of Remembrance - It's like Zulaport Cutthroat but on an enchantment which makes it harder to get rid of. The deck doesn't run any of these effects though since I'd rather win via beatdown. That being said, it's definitely a great component to an aristocrats strategy which is something this deck can do well.
- Chittering Harvester - A bit costly at 5 mana to mutate but when it does each opponent sacrifices a creature. Mutating onto Mazirek makes it a 4/6 instead of a 2/2 plus the counters for opponents sacrificing creatures. Definitely worth a slot in the budget build.
- Mutual Destruction - Is just Bone Splinters with flash if it can get flash. I don't run Bone Splinters in the deck but both these spells might be useful in the Budget Build.
- Gemrazer - Another great card to mutate onto Mazirek, making it a 4/4 with flying, trample, and reach. It also naturalizes when it mutates so it can also get rid of a pesky artifact or enchantment when it does. So it can do a ton of things all in one fell swoop and for just 3 mana.
- Fiend Artisan - Is like a mix between Lhurgoyf and Prime Speaker Vannifar. It's definitely worth a slot in the deck because of how well it synergizes with it. The deck's already running Razaketh, the Foulblooded but not Birthing Pod. But I prefer Fiend Artisan since it's super cheap, it triggers Mazirek, and it cheats any creature onto the battlefield from the graveyard. Again, definitely worth a slot in the deck.
- The Ozolith - 100% going in the deck. This is better than Reyhan since it can store all counters on it and then pass them to another creature at the beginning of combat. Sending all +1/+1 counters to Mazirek is a way to potentially one-shot an opponent. Definitely going in the deck.
