I actually do think they should change the name. But let's be honest, the main reason why the activist are going after this one is because relatively speaking it's low hanging fruit. Just look at the NCAA and it's policy against ANY name based on Native Americans as proof of this. If nothing else, changing the name but keeping it so that they can still use the same logo would be a great way to show how this isn't about racism but instead is about people looking to be offended.
How about a 5 color legendary vanilla? You know, just to show how big one of those can be? It wouldn't ruin limited and it would give EDH a 5 color general that doesn't receive hate just for being played.
How about "whenever you scry, scry for that amount +X instead"? That way, it becomes a replacement effect that always works for whatever the original scry amount was.
I am suggesting that there be a link back to the board a thread is on at the bottom of the page in between the link the next thread and the previous thread. I post here and at a Kaijudo message board that has a similar setup to it's boards and there they have such a link and here we don't.
To be honest, after thread page gets to a certain length it would be nice to be able to just click on a link there to go back to the board it's on instead of having to scroll all the way up to the top of the page or to keep scrolling down to "jump to" that board or if the thread is long enough going to another page and then clicking on the link at the top of another page.
Obviously, this isn't that big of a deal, but it would be a nice change that I hope wouldn't be too much trouble to incorporate.
Well I thought tonight's episode wrapped up a lot as well as set us up for the rest of the season. I especially liked the end when
Eska showed up pissed off that she was dumped. Not only that, but she showed up with out her twin brother.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting her to actually care enough to have any sort of emotional response but I now look forward to her being developed as a character now whereas last week I was wonder if they were going to do anything with her at all.
Well I saw it tonight and I thought it was pretty cool. I had the superhero comic book feel to it without being stupid about it. I like how it takes place in the same universe, but so far the big name players are only name dropped rather than shown. The whole "Tahiti" thing is obviously something they will explore in the future. I hope it isn't too hokey.
Saw the third episode. Is it wrong of me to be more interested in...
... what is happening at the air temple rather than what is happening at the southern water civ? Honestly, everything that happened down there was pretty predictable. I for one did not see the fact that Aang obviously favored his airbending son over the other children quite as much as he apparently did. I still want to know what sort of spiritual something happened in the avatar room.
In the south, the main thing I want is for the twins to get some character development already. I thought they had potential to be funny and weird and now they are just getting on my nerves. Yes, I get it, they think themselves superior to their southern relatives. Is that it? Well that and general rudeness?
It would be cool if there was a world that had pirates as one of the factions, but I'm not certain I would want the entire set to be based on them. If it where, then how could you shoehorn ninjas into that?
I generally enjoyed the first two episodes, but I do have question or two.
Specifically, when they went to that air temple, where did those other air monks come from? I'm assuming they are air monks from how they dress and talked, but I was under the impression that Tenzen and his family where the only airbenders in existence at this point.
Looks like Korra's uncle is being pretty aggressive towards the Southern water tribe, what role do his son/daughter have in that?
An elk huh? I would have figured that if it wasn't going to be a nymph, since apparently the gods don't use them, that it would have been one of the Greek zodiac animals. *shrug* Well so much for that private theory of mine.
I've just read this thread and what amuses me is all the people saying, "remember counterspell?" and "cancel was always a nerfed counterspell" and "counterspell this and counterspell that.. blah blah blah"
Seriously guys, the last time counterspell was in a standard set was 7th edition. You know, before the frames got changed in 8th. You know, over a decade ago Honestly, it isn't even legal in modern. It's NOT coming back. Get the hell over it people and stop comparing cards that are obviously designed for standard with it.

In otherwords, how many sets where released before type 1, 1.5, and 2 became different formats?
It does nothing vs. dredge since using that mechanic isn't the same as discarding cards.
