Bloodmoon and magus and temur are good together against tron and valakut. You slow them down and get time to do your things.
Bloodmoon gave me a win against Jekai Control. 3 colors deck dont expect that at all from a Shadow Deck. Shadow manabase are usually bad
but in this list. It's not. We 12 fetches you it's very easy to get your basics land. Even more with traverse.
Question 2: Minister of pain can sac himself. So it's a -1/-1 for 3. The reason it's good it's because you can traverse it
AND bring it back with kcommand. When you need it, you traverse it. If you need it again later, your bring it back to your hand.
Question 3: I played alot more games with tradional jund than with shadow bbe jund. My experience against burn is limited as a shadow player.
Brutality helps me to control well my life total against burn while also being a pretty good target for BBE in any matchup. It's versatil and never
100% bad. The biggest reason I play 4 is because the list dont play IOK. So I feel I need some more discard spell in the sb against combo deck.
It also have his tool against control.
At my LGS, a player was playing a pretty agressive deck with sac artifact + 5dmg face jumeled with sac goblins + 5dmg face with bolt and opal.
I was pretty happy to have my 4 copys of CB.
I could even see a CB maindeck instead of tarfire.
I think you guys underestimate the power of BBE in the DS jund shell;
BBE is good at cascading into creature/and unconditional target.
We have Traverse/DS/Tarmo/Kcommand as the most juicy target. 16 INSANE target to cascade into.
Maybe it's just my feeling but I miss with BBE alot less with DS jund than with tradional jund.
With DS jund, i'm the agressor, I just need more pressure and that's exactly what BBE offer.
I just feel BBE is more concistent in this shell. The ultimate worst target is Bauble and it's still a 2 for one. It doesnt end with a
3/2 for 4.
About my NOSB, I've put this in the SB because of mardu pyromancer. with push/Lingering souls/Bedlam CA, This is not a pretty good matchup and this card shut it down. It's also pretty good against infect (I've seen a lil rise of infect lately on mtgo). NOSB doesnt kill any of our creature (because we dont play bob) and hitting my 4th land is not a problem at all.
I feel like our worst matchup are go wild small creature deck and this card solve this problem.
I literally won my last 10 matches with the deck; Beating 2 tradional jund, 1 jeskai control, 1 dredge, 2 burns, 1 human, Skred (2-0), Death&Taxe and 8rack.
Well I don't think so, I did the math alongside Frank Karsten's article on the hypergeometric function for how many lands you need to consistantly make your landdrops, and we are on the low side of things when you run 23 lands. As we know Jund works great if we can cast multiple spells a turn. But alongside Ravine and the Fastlands, often you will have only 3 untapped lands on turn 4 with 23 lands only, which is really bad in my opinion.
Since you think 23 lands are fine, can you state why?
I'm my personal experience, I flood less with 23 lands and rarely have issues making land drops. There's really no deep answer as to "why," it's just the amount that feels right to me.
With 2+ four drops I wouldnt go under 24 lands.
With no four drops maindeck, 23 lands felt optimal to me.
There's a small Nombo between sweeper and Goblin rabblemaster.
Maybe I'll try in the nexts few days 2x Grim Lavamencer instead of Kozilek Return and Anger of the god.
Not 100% sure it'll work tho.
One more thing, I kept 2 goblins rabblemaster in the deck against affinity.
It did pretty well. As soon as my oponent felt behind, The clock was very fast and my damage higher than his damage.
My clock was better than his clock. 3 is too much in the mu but 2 felt great.
Hello, I just stated playing abzan traverse, has anyone tested with gonti lord of luxury in any GBx variant?
Playing with oponen deck is always fun. Gonti is a fun card to me.
Because it's bad against most deck (Affinity,Scapeshift, Ad nauseam, Dredge, burn(unless you hit lightning helix)).
In fair/midrange MU it's good. Nice 2 for 1 value.

I hope it helped you !
It's very a kill deck where you want creatures after creature;
Traverse into BBE ---> shadow into kcommand bring back BBE and put some more pressure.
Kcommand help the goal of having 100% of the time a huge creature on board while still being another 2 for 1.
My plan against combo deck is not to destroy their hand with lili. TS + CB combined with DS + TBR is enaugh.
As a jund player, I would love to play lili, but this list isnt her place to my eyes.

I fought Human, Burn, Jund, Jeskai ''JACE'' Control and another Jund.
I enjoy playing BBE Traverse Shadow soo much !
What do you side in against them? (I'll fight one tonight)
I thought about Night of soul's betrayal and some GY hate. Your thoughts?
Good against midrange, good against control.
My only question is: 4kcommand MD or 3kcommand + 1TBR?
I wonder if in this build we need TBR MD.
The deck is so aggressive now. The dmg caused by manlands are just more significative.
With 2+ four drops I wouldnt go under 24 lands.

Jund never felt so well since a long long time.

When you curve rabble into rabble. The dmg dealed is so insane lol.
I play my 4 drop in sb (1 x pia and 1 x huntmaster)
I dont like chandra right now. I feel the same as you FlyingDelver.
The only mu I side rabble out is against some kind of creatures deck (where we are already good) to bring in my 4 drop's.
Against combo and control; he did all I need.

They play 23-24 without noble and 22 with noble.
