So, UG has Ezuri. Phyrexian Ezuri. That picture is EPIC. Do you think that "Swell the host" as the Commander package is named, will be some control/theft or unblockable mechanics for experience counters?
Because, "Call the Spirits" for Daxos (he generates them), "Wade into Battle" for Kalemne, "Seize Control" for Mizzix (cheaper spells aren't control as I take it)... So we have Ezuri with "Swell the host" for UG and then "Plunder the Graves" for Meren. Because Mazirek is sac and +1/+1 type general, I hope Meren will be reanimator, based on that motto. So that leaves us with Ezuri as infect general? Taking into account that phyrexia art..
With the description it seems more like some gains/ETB trigger because the decription says: "As more creatures join his mighty host, he infuses them with ever-greater power."
I wouldn't mind a infect general has long as said general doesn't have infect because infect on a legendary creature is read as "The commander damage necessary to kill a player with your general is reduce to 10"
An artifact punishment could be interesting with all those rock played in commander something like:
pay X put a heat counter on all artifacts with cmc X
Whenever an ability of an artifact with one or more heat counter on it is used that artifact deals 1 damage for each heat counter on it to is controller.
The only type of deck that new legend can shine would be Giant tribal if you don't want to run Brion Stoutarm because in all other archetype the existing generals seem better.
I got to say the art and flavour text for this set is pretty pants. Like original Ravnica had a lot of the story in the art and flavour but it wasn't so bleedingly obvious.
I am glad they brought back the idea of having access to the stories in the fat packs because that way it is harder for them to just go back and change the storyline without us having to catch them. I can't remember who caught them on the Zendikar vampire retconning.
Back to the point of this thread. Did anyone get a weird vibe about how they showed the temple to have all three Titans when Kiora said that the adults don't worship Cosi? But if they don't, why have stories and statues for him? I mean if there's a temple of Ula, then surely there should be a temple for Cosi right? Which would mean he was worshiped by adults? Also I wonder if they are going to talk about the missing demons/dinosaurs. I mean were they eaten first cause they were tasty?
Kiora leave with the merfolks with a buch of cosi worshiper so yes there are Cosi worshiper
Didn't they say Prowess was more of a white ability than blue? Since white more often has creatures? I'd expect therefore that the W/R land has prowess.
Has deathtouch been done on a man land yet? If not maybe we get something like.
2WB: Land becomes a 1/5 creature with Deathtouch until end of turn. As a more defenseive option.
Prowess is primary U and R. As for white I don't know for sure but I think it's only secondary (except on Tarkir prowess as yet to appear on a non-blue non-red creature.
Prowess was made for blue to have a keyword that is not evasion nor hexproof/shroud and so UR had a common keyword.
The 3rd Commander?

Can you explain the new think or give us a link please ?
