Another 3-drop option I thought about is Mentor of the Meek which can help me with card draw, is it a good idea to play him (instead of Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers) ?
Now that I think about it for a such a tempo dependent deck I don't have any card draw or draw fixing, what should I play to fill this role (and how many copies of it) ?
2. Another card I thought about is Dangerous Wager, but not being as fast as pure Burn I don't know how frequently I'll empty my hand to make the best use of this card, should I play it (It's better than Magmatic Insight or Tormenting Voice, right ?) ?
3. Another option is Mentor of the Meek, all my creatures fit his condition and Young Pyromancer's tokens should trigger him as well (right ?), but he has to remain on board (and not die) and wait for a creature in order to draw cards (and it costs 1 mana for each card) and with not so many creatures is he worth it in this deck ?
4. Should Browbeat be considered ? It seems rather good either way (but a bit mana intensive...)
Also, is Nylea, God of the Hunt good in this deck (there is usually enough devotion for him to reliably become a creature and the Trample bonus is very good) ? Or is he too slow ?
And how is Wilt-Leaf Liege in this deck ?
And I still don't see why I shouldn't play Talara's Battalion, So what that you can't play her turn 2 and she's a marginal turn 3 play ?
Later it's a great value when for 2 mana you get a 4/3 trample creature (Turn 4 it can be paired with: Avatar,Experiment,Tusker,Vines of Vastwood, Geist).
It seems to me that it's minor drawback shouldn't disqualify this card.
What makes Strangleroot Geist better than Kalonian Tusker or Gyre Sage ?
Maybe the haste is good for early damage but the extra resilience of the Tusker or the Evolve+Mana Ramp of the Sage seems a bit more attractive to me.
Another green 2-drop I like is Talara's Battalion, it seems like a much stronger creature (just not for turn 2).
I would also suggest playing Lightning Helix (instead of Gather the Townsfolk) which is a staple of Boros aggro decks imho. Iroas, God of Victory will be good here as well (but you'll need more lands to play him consistently).
The idea is to create a budget version (120$) that combines aspects of Jeskai Prowess and Mardu Tokens that can win quickly.
Some cards I wanted to use but got cut for budgetary concerns: Path to Exile and Monastery Mentor.
3. Should I include some Emerge Unscathed in the deck (instead of some of the sorceries) ?
It can trigger my creatures (twice) while protecting them and/or giving them unblock-ability.
I'm also trying to find room for Rancor but am not sure whether it is worth taking out any of the instants for. Hardened Scales seems great here and I consider playing more than 2x but I'm afraid to draw too many of them.
For the 3-drop Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers will probably stay (Boros Reckoner will probably go to the sb for now).
Another 3-drop option I thought about is Mentor of the Meek which can help me with card draw, is it a good idea to play him (instead of Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers) ?
I also think about including Porcelain Legionnaire which seems great as well and might even cut a 1-drop like Soldier of the Pantheon for him, is it a good idea ?
1. Magma Jet comes to mind (if I trim off 1x of: Flame Slash, Volcanic Fallout and Rift Bolt I can free 3x slots for it).
2. Another card I thought about is Dangerous Wager, but not being as fast as pure Burn I don't know how frequently I'll empty my hand to make the best use of this card, should I play it (It's better than Magmatic Insight or Tormenting Voice, right ?) ?

What do you think about Dungrove Elder, Talara's Battalion and Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers for this deck ?
Maybe the haste is good for early damage but the extra resilience of the Tusker or the Evolve+Mana Ramp of the Sage seems a bit more attractive to me.
Another green 2-drop I like is Talara's Battalion, it seems like a much stronger creature (just not for turn 2).
Have you considered trying Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers or Dungrove Elder in the 3-drop spot?
What do you think about Renegade Krasis ?
Wild Defiance seems like a great addition to the deck, should I include it (if so then instead of what?) ?
Or will it slow the deck down too much?
Are Mutant's Prey or Prey Upon worth including here as pump+removal ?
Dromoka's Command is even better but costs more mana (and is rather expensive at 6$)
2x Anax and Cymede
4x Boros Reckoner
4x Boros Swiftblade
4x Figure of Destiny
4x Student of Warfare
4x Wojek Halberdiers
4x Boros Charm
4x Brave the Elements
4x Lightning Bolt
4x Lightning Helix
Land (20)
2x Ancient Ziggurat
2x Battlefield Forge
4x Arid Mesa
4x Sacred Foundry
2x Mountain
2x Plains
2x Honor of the Pure
Anax and Cymede's spot is flexibale and if you don't like it Iroas, God of Victory might be a good (or even better) replacement.
Honor of the Pure is interchangeble with Legion's Initiative (Student of Warfare will suffer a bit) so you can save your board from wipes.
I would also suggest playing Lightning Helix (instead of Gather the Townsfolk) which is a staple of Boros aggro decks imho.
Iroas, God of Victory will be good here as well (but you'll need more lands to play him consistently).
Boros Swiftblade is another good creature for this deck (possibly instead of Precinct Captain).
I would also throw in a couple of Anax and Cymede as well (instead of 2x Silverblade Paladin).
I would also replace Soldier of the Pantheon (which can be a decent sb card) with Student of Warfare.
For removal another option can be Chained to the Rocks (slower than Path to Exile but doesn't give a land).
If you drop the Human theme you could play such creatures as: Figure of Destiny (instead of Champion of the Parish) and Boros Reckoner (instead of Silverblade Paladin).
It's your choice but I think the deck would be better with these cards in it.
Some cards I wanted to use but got cut for budgetary concerns: Path to Exile and Monastery Mentor.
Here is the current build:
4x Kiln Fiend
4x Monastery Swiftspear
4x Seeker of the Way
4x Young Pyromancer
4x Boros Charm
4x Lightning Bolt
4x Lightning Helix
4x Volcanic Fallout
4x Battlefield Forge
2x City of Brass
3x Clifftop Retreat
11x Mountain
4x Flame Slash
4x Rift Bolt
Some card choices I'm unsure about:
1. Should I keep Volcanic Fallout or replace it with: Slagstorm, Pyroclasm or Anger of the Gods ?
2. Is Kiln Fiend a good choice for this deck or should I include Abbot of Keral Keep or Blistercoil Weird instead ?
3. Should I include some Emerge Unscathed in the deck (instead of some of the sorceries) ?
It can trigger my creatures (twice) while protecting them and/or giving them unblock-ability.
4. Is Rift Bolt a better option for this deck than Pillar of Flame or Forked Bolt or Shard Volley or Shock ?
5. Should Magma Jet or Searing Blood be included in the deck ?
Another budget option is Crystallization which is an improved Pacifism.
2x Gods Willing
4x Emerge Unscathed
4x Feat of Resistance
4x Prey's Vengeance
2x Vines of Vastwood
4x Brushland
2x City of Brass
2x Ancient Ziggurat
12x Plains
Creature (22)
3x Abzan Falconer
3x Avatar of the Resolute
4x Battlewise Hoplite
4x Fabled Hero
4x Favored Hoplite
4x Phalanx Leader
2x Hardened Scales
I am still unsure about 2x Gods Willing and wonder whether 2x more Vines of Vastwood or 2x Ranger's Guile or maybe 2x Defiant Strike or 2x Warriors' Lesson will be a better idea.
I'm also trying to find room for Rancor but am not sure whether it is worth taking out any of the instants for.
Hardened Scales seems great here and I consider playing more than 2x but I'm afraid to draw too many of them.
Using Lush Growth seems like a really interesting solution to the lack of shocks/fetches.
I've tried to build a variant of Stompy with some Evolve mixed -in, here it is:
4x Avatar of the Resolute
4x Experiment One
3x Gyre Sage
4x Leatherback Baloth
4x Nettle Sentinel
4x Renegade Krasis
4x Talara's Battalion
2x Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers
2x Wilt-Leaf Liege
17x Forest
3x Treetop Village
Instant (3)
3x Vines of Vastwood
Sorcery (2)
2x Prey Upon
4x Rancor
What do you think ?
Some cards I thought would be good in the deck but decided to leave out (should I have kept any of them instead of the included ones ?):
Strangleroot Geist, Dungrove Elder, Mul Daya Channelers and Nylea, God of the Hunt
