I am eager to read your next episode narrating the later events: The creation of Tolaria's academy, the Weatherlight's crew, the events on Rath, the Phyrexian Invasion, etc... -
Oct 19, 2015Stefouch posted a message on The Magic Street Journal: Wizards Always Hurts The Ones They LoveWhat if Wizards has another concept of the price barrier ?Posted in: Articles
For example, they keep to reprint Tarmo in mythic rarity. Clearly that doesn't help to decrease the price barrier.
Could it be possible that Wizards doesn't try to fix that price problem because if all cards were cheap, everyone would have the same decks? The format would be less diverse. -

I enjoyed reading your big article. It is exactly what I feel today about Magic and you put a name on it : Magic is now more a battlefield for speculators, investors, and fraudsters, than players. I am on the verge to stop playing after 17 long years because of this new fact. Fortunately, EDH still have its grip on me. But I quitted the competition field. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Return target artifact card from your graveyard to the battlefield.

Sacrifice Outlet
According to me, these are the only interesting things he does for the Engine version.
I like it :
- Free sacrifice outlet.
- Dodges graveyard removal.
- Recurable.
- Mega-affinity compatible with all our mana rocks.
But :
- Lacks evasion.
The WU planeswalker has been revealed and has unfortunately nothing related to artifacts despite his background and art.
Also, Still no UR legend for artifact EDH.
- Salvaging Station always first?
- Tawnos's Coffin for a recursion engine with the Kitty?
- A combo piece to end them all as soon as the other piece is coming?
I found myself always going for the third option (combo piece) or for an emergency boardwipe.
But I am not sure it's the best play.
Second question, related to the first one, what are the best Intuition piles can we make?
I know this one: any creature + Unburial Rites.
But then?
You can't, Mindslaver is legendary :x
Still usefull in any deck running a bunch of artifacts.
I see no clarification of "activated" or "triggered".
Does it mean you can counter a un-morphing ability ?
Red R can bring so much to an artifact EDH deck: Welder, Wheel of Fortune, Daretti, Scrap Mastery, etc..
But we'll lose all the best tutors and the Thopter Foundry/Sword of the Meek/Time Sieve combo
Magic Origins gave us a cool preview of what could be Kaladesh with Hangarback Walker and Artificer's Epiphany.
I don't believe we'll get Esper colors artifacts, most probably UR colors. Maybe a good UR artifact commander.
Mox Diamond isn't in EMA unfortunately. But Mana Crypt is! And better to spend the money in the Crypt, you can play it in any Commander deck!
