it won't die any time soon but it may slack in popularity as more people realize the cost of a pack isn't worth it unless you pull a mythic. when you're paying $4 for a pack and getting $1.00 worth of cards... bit of a problem.
Other than that, it's another boring and bad rare, another reason for me to not buy packs.
agreed. stuff like this just doesn't feel rare. it'd be completely broken at uncommon in limited, but thats what it feels like. an uncommon. its not efficient, its not flashy, its not complicated so it feels like it was made rare just so drafters wouldn't whine.
Between Worldwake and Rise of the Eldrazi they printed 196 creatures and hardly any ways to deal with them (except removal). Do you see how strange that sounds? If you dismiss, off the bat, the things that they print to remove Planeswalkers (creatures), then of course you won't find much left.
removal encompasses a broad range of spells with varying styles of removing targets. the creatures that were printed have almost no ability to get rid of a planeswalker except through smashing face and they have to contend with removal while trying to do so. there needs to be multiple options to deal with everything.
Fun fact: Alliances was 7 bucks a pack when it was released. And people bought a lot of them.
uh what? i love it when you guys throw out random bull☺☺☺☺ like its truth. it most certainly wasn't $7 a pack back when it was released. i remember paying no more than 3.50 for them.
Red-headed women with freckles are my greatest weakness. Whatever this art is for, I want it.
agreed. for a completely fictional woman that art is absolutely amazing. i'm really hoping it ends up on a card. i also really like that she's not on fire and raging like in all the other arts.
