She's broke. I built it two days ago and even before the deck had any focus it was silly. Now, the more I play it the more I can see where it should be going and it just keeps getting better. I think the super casual guys won't like to play against her though.
Drain Life and Zikur haven't replied to my PMs to them yet. Chris/Jenkins, you both know Drain Life irl, correct? If you could remind him next time you see him, that would be awesome.
Ok, I'll tell him to check the boards. It seems my opponent didn't show. Should I pm you my decklist now? Do I send it in a list form or MWS file form?
As far as what cards are the "EDH Power Nine," a good place to start would be to ask what made the original power nine, THE power nine?
They all give you some basic resource for very little investment. Most of them are mana or cards, one is an extra turn which may or may not result in extra cards and/or extra mana.
Tolarian Academy, Mana Drain, Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, Mana Vault and Grim Monolith I think give a lot of mana for very little investment. Ancestral Vision gives a lot of cards for the amount of mana fed into it. Sensei's Divining Top gives long-term card quality for very little mana. Sylvan Library makes card quality, trades life for cards and combo's with Abundance so most people just scoop.
Those are my votes.
Though, in a deck that has a mana base to support it, Necropotence should probably replace sylvan library.

lol I don't think he's worried about the banned list with his general.
I like the idea of using an Un card for a general. I need to get my hands on a Fruitcake Elemental.
