Simple, Random High dollar Mythics to sell the set, 3-5 decent rares, followed by crap in the name of a fun limited experience, or and 1 or 2 decent common/uncommon cards as well.
They are discretely highly promoting cube recently on the mothership, with I think 3 articles in the last two weeks suggesting you should build/design your own cubes.
The announcement page for eternal masters explicitely speaks about "cube staples". I think most of the rares in the format will be anchors of the MTGO holiday cube. Bulk anchors are semilocks in my opinion. That is why I predicted upheaval as the other blue mythic.
I think classic cube archetypes are going to be archetypes here and lead to both money and bulk reprints. Some choices like ravages of War vs. Armaggeddon will certainly be driven only by adjusting the EV of a pack, and we should have a lot of rarity upgrades (mom, baleful stryx, shardless agent etc...)
My prediction remains the same, all the money except a few will be mythics. Just a few rares worth anything. It is made to draft, which is the excuse they love to give for making cards mythic, which in products like this and MM2015 means the high power money cards. For a pack that cost $10. I would even call a rare worth $2.50 or so bulk. You crack a rare worth $5 you are still a loser, still lost half your money. It would be the same as opening a $.50 rare in a regular pack. Maybe I will be wrong, and they will have a decent number of rares worth money, of course then stores will just chars $15-$25 a pack, whatever they feel the EV is.... And I remember reading the print run is something along the lines of Modern Masters, not Modern Masters 2015, that would only drive the price up more...
And you could be right Upheaval could be a Mythic here, It would be the Comet Storm of the set.

Hehe, nice to see on Ebay, preorders starting and for the low price of $285, 6 already sold only 2 left!
Ebay's policy for pre-sale is that the seller must be able to delivery the item within 30 days of the auction ending. These auctions can be reported for violating that policy.
Yes but it happens all the time anyway. And it is also a show of what seller are already expecting these to go for...
Black-bordered duals are on sale, it's clearly not a Sinister Insider Information Sale to ditch the cards that are getting reprinted.
...although I'm pretty sure SOME of those cards are getting reprinted.
But that is why it would be genius! Hey if we throw these reserve list cards and some duals on sale No one can rightly accuse us when everything else we sell is being reprinted, no one can accuse us of knowing before hand because we also sold stuff that could not be reprinted,
I don't think anything from 1994-97 should ever be reprinted again, you need to have some older chase cards. And all these reprint sets should be white bordered to signify reprint. WotC sees' a cash grab, and look at the buzz.
And every year there are less and less of these chase cards, as being played will eventually ruin them, someday all that will be left are cards that are unplayable, and those held by collectors to rarely see the light of day. Your non-rotating formats will basically become modern with no new support for them, which tends to mean reprints to breath fresh life into formats that have grown to expensive for new people to enter and to also replace cards that have been played to often they are no longer legal. There is already a huge list of very chase cards that can not be reprinted due to the reserve list, That is already more then enough, and already hurts the vintage and legacy formats in and of itself. It is a collectible trading card game, not a investment product. Someday Magic will die (hopefully not for a long time yet), and guess what all those people who held on to reserve list cards thinking it a great investment, will notice their "investments" are now basically penny stocks.
I do not think all cards should be printed into oblivion, but in order for a card game to be played, cards do need to be printed, and for people to use their old cards to play they need people willing to play with them, and no one would want to play a deck where they basically have 1 in 5000 chance of winning simply because they can not afford a land base that cost thousands of dollars to compete. So if you want vintage and legacy formats to completely die (and in fact I would not care at all as I have no interest in them) Then it is fine with me, never reprint a card that is old again, fine by me. They can always print stuff that is simply strictly better someday and then most of those super chase cards also lost a lot of value. Lets face it, ABUR duals are no P9 cards, that are not exactly novelties, if they stop being played their price would crash, as their power in games is what has them priced so high. Otherwise you would not be buying a card that cost nearly 200 to be shuffling it and playing it, as each time its played it loses some value, as true collectors would want the un-played mint gems, not the bent, chipped, faded, heavily played cards.
$10 a pack likely just means, 90% of all cards worth anything will be bumped up to mythic, a couple rare lands will make a showing 1-2 uncommon and common staples and the rest useless junk for the sake of making the draft experience "fun". I would not be shocked to see a bunch of people wasting money pre-ordering when the mythics get spoiled only to be cursing when they see how many bulk rares there are and cry when the pre order price ends up at or below MSRP. You know what happened with MM2015.
At least I can count on my LGS to preorder under MSRP as they have with everything MM and MM2015 included. of course that is only if I end up being interested which I see little chance of.
My info is that there will be an "eternal-masters" set and that it will have a higher msrp than mm2. What do you think about that?
I would say, let the hoarding speculators get it all so they can save it and asked for double the msrp in a few years, as I have no interest in paying more for 1 pack then I could pay for a draft with prize support. (which is $10 at my LGS)
Probably dual lands that give your opponent a 2/2 zombie, a 1/1 fying spirit, a 1/1 exploding devil, a 2/2 wolf or a 1/1 human with vigilance when they ETB.
That's kinda cool, but probably too strong. I mean, would you take the tempo hit in order to get a free 2/2 on turn one? I would.
Timber Cave
Land
~ enters the battlefield tapped.
When ~ enters the battlefield, put a 2/2 red and green Wolf creature token onto the battlefield. T: Add R or G to your mana pool.
That's probably too strong. But I could imagine:
Timber Cave
Land
~ enters the battlefield tapped. T: Add R or G to your mana pool.
When you discard ~, you may pay RG. If you do, put a 2/2 red and green Wolf creature token onto the battlefield.
Trifas, filterlands have cool spooky names, like Fetid Heath and Graven Cairns. That might be enough.
I think you misread, they were saying your opponent gets the creature when you play the land, you know a drawback dual land
One thing which is constantly bugging me is the fact, that those leaks are always horrible quality. How? Every person has a HD camera on his mobile phone....
It may surprise you, but not everyone has one of the latest model phones with HD cameras. Some of us have better things to spend or hard (or not so hard) earned cash on than the latest model Iphone, like Magic cards.
well even a smartphone which is 2 years old makes perfectly fine photos of something 30cm in front of it. Its not that you need the newest smartphone generation to do that.
But its every time the same. Everytime some photo leaks like that show up, they look so freaking aweful its not even funny. And i just dont know why..
I do not even have a smart phone, or a tablet, I know how do I even survive.

Only time will tell, I remember during Origins preview week when many said flip Jace was an awful card.

Let the conspiracy live! hehehe.
If you want to be technical, you have Eternal Masters in June, Eldritch Moon in July then this Conspiracy 2 in August, that's 3 sets.

I was being sarcastic.
