Your task this month is to create a simple newspaper like funny comic strip [4-6 boxes or whatever] featuring any characters you feel like drawing. The subject matter is totally up to you too. [within forum rules obviously] Comedy is key here, have fun!
Take a non-Un/hinged/glued card and put an Un spin on it. Emphasis on decorations to the card frame to reflect the new angle. Feel free to update the card's effect to reflect the idea. [the unique card render is the point here]
I would rather see no posts for a day than to get online and see 5-10 new ones, get excited that there might be something awesome posted, and then have the utter soul crushing disappointment that is no art. Just bickering.
Agreed. It's in your hands people to keep this thread alive and thriving. It got where it is with kick-ass alterations that re-defined what these little pieces of cardboard really bring to the table. I'd like to keep it to that.
You don't have to praise, you don't have to critique, it's totally up to you. But don't complain about how the thread isn't going how you'd like it too, or how the novelty has worn off for ya.
That said, i want to see more user-created content [custom art] and amusing cross-overs. Like Samus on a _____, or Megaman on a _____.
I agree to ^ and ^^'s as well. I'd stylize the card name area and card type area to give it more glamor. As well, extending the green mountains in the background over to the left would be cool too.
The moxes are really well done though, impressive. No one does the moxes from the new arts.

People might like a link to some kinda source for the vaio notebook so they can check out the dimensions and such.

Turpentine? No. Acetone? Yes. And i hear it works wonderfully, just don't soak the card in it.
I tried using acetone from nail poisher remover but it was not strong enough.
