Also some other ideas I've had that I'm going to be testing:

1 Murderous cut in the place of 1 terminate
Kira (this is probably too cute)
    Painful Truths
    Jace, Vryn's Prodigy
Disdainful Stroke (I think Ceremonious Rejection is strictly better save for vs. scapeshift)
    Ravenous Trap
    Phyrexian Unlife
    Rakdos Charm

Just my thoughts on these ideas:
Murderous cut i think would be sideboard. We already rely on Delve threats. I'm not convinced we could cast it easily.
Kira seems too cute, I agree.
Painful Truths is a card I'm playing a 1-of in the board, it's won me games when resolved. It's also going to be included in sideboard section of the Primer
Jace, VP seems waaaaaaay to slow.
Stroke seems good if Valakut ever gets 10% of the meta. Otherwise it seems meh.
I'm not sold on Ravenous Trap, I personally am really digging Relic of Progenitus right now.
Phyrexian Unlife requires a 4th color, and I'm personally of the mindset that we don't need it.
Rakdos Charm has been very good for some people, very solid modal choice. Also going into the primer.
    Just me 2 cents.

Hey all, just an update on the primer. DaveJacinto and I are hard at work, and wrapping it up quickly. The last major thing we really need is matchup analysis. If a few people could message him or I with some insight of your own to go with ours, I'd be very thankful! Thanks y'all, it should be live this weekend, if all goes well!

I'm currently working on building the primer if any of you would like to help, specially with matchup analysis/sideboard guides I'd love to have some help!!!!

I'd love to help! Very glad this is a thing now! Been done the deck for a few feels and loving it! Now to my answers on the quiz:

Thanks man. I'd be in touch with you for some sideboard/matchup analysis then. I'll PM you about it as soon as I get around to that part. If anyone else wants to be in on this feel free to

I also love to write, so if you'd like, I can Beta the actual primer and check for spelling, grammar, and cohesion. Maybe set up a Google docs and we could work on it together?

    1) I'm on just Grixis currently.
    2) I'm currently on 2 watery grave, it's the land I'm always fetching on Turn 1.
    3) as of now, I'm on the set of push, 0 terminate main with 2 in the side, and I'm also on 4 bolt, because I don't have the 4th thoughtsiezedition currently, and in my meta, bolt is very good.
    4) I'm currently on 3 molten rain, because of the damage, and the wallet niceness compared to fulminator.
    5) I've had no problems casting anger on turn 3.
    6) I love snapcaster mage, stubborn denial, and that fact that not all our threats die to fatal push.

You said it yourself, there are too many threats, not enough answers. That's what I'm upset about. They told us they were fixing it. Go look at the new counterspell. It's so much worse than the alternatives. They could have just reprinted miscalculation, but no. Obviously too powerful for standard and modern.

Really wizards?! I'm so done with this. Why couldn't we have just gotten miscalculation?

All I want right now is the green God, dang it. I wanna see if my conceptual green stompy standard list can be a thing.

From my understanding, the base that was targeted was the base that launched the chemical attack. In addition, that same base does not have a ton of resources, such as planes or personnel. The base isnt a huge target by any means, it doesn't have any reason to be other than symbolic. It's in a farm region, and very little chance of Russians being in the premises. All these things considered, I believe the attack was mostly just a symbolic gesture, a sort of, "don't bomb your own people" kind of statement and a little slap on the wrist. I don't believe it will have a lasting impact, truthfully.

Uuuhhh.... also that new red aura is kinda sweet. It's just hammerhand, right? Maybe they are building a new RDW strat with this set?

One thing I'm not sure if anyone has touched on is the existence of those cycling lands. The new God can return them to be cycled late game, which helps it's playability a little as a finisher in a blue control deck.

I'm disappointed so far. Nothing I'm excited about for Eternal play. If they give me miscalculation I'll be satisfied, but I doubt even that at this point.
