I posted this in the Standard deck critique forum and it got nothin... so since it's more of a casual deck I decided to post it here... Please comment on what you think should or shouldn't be in the deck, or just random comments.
How the deck works: You get alot of creatures in play (about 7) with at least one Gemhide and 1 Basal Sliver, you then play (or have) Hivestone turning all of your mana elves (and birds) into slivers which can now be saced for BB. On the win turn, tap all of your creatures for B then sacrifice all for BB and Consume for the win. Wierd Harvest can make 2 extra mana if X=4 and you get 4x Ornithopter, which can then be sacrificed for BB.
The only problem I have with the deck is the only creatures that hivestone gives mana abilities to, with gemhide in play, is ornithopter. that seems a bit redundant. I'm pretty sure I could do without a playset of one of the mana makers (birds, or one of the elves) and put in something else.

Meh, then so do llanowar elves- I'm pretty sure you're supposed to make a card specificly to counter another card so let me try...

My problems with the deck- It seems redundant to me. 12 cards already have built-in mana abilites, so hivestone+gemhide only works for ornithopter (and takes the burn away from deep shadow(not mentioning any-color, it does give llanowar black mana)...

I was also thinking about nantuko shaman because the deck can play him normaly but still not tap any lands.
