Counter target spell unless its controller discards a card.If they do, you may discard a card to put a copy of this spell on the stack. you may not choose a new target for the copy.
I welcome you to the boards! Yay, I'm first! Someone other than me will probably greet you better, now on to business.
A.) Fall From Grace is a black name. The card's effect is black. This is a black card.
B.) I don't like this card. A good first attempt, but the obvious abuse is any Wall+this turns that 1/7 or whatever turn 2-3 white wall into a 7/7 token on turn 4 or 5.
These are the obvious flaws. I'm certain someone more skilled than me can point out bigger, and more subtle abuses.
Again, A good try, and welcome!
Feedback=:D
PlanesJaywalker, you make me feel like an idiot every time you post. That's not a bad thing, I assure you, merely your seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of every card I unwittingly copy poorly is forcing me to re-assess my entire world.
Hvirfilvindir, I don't know why that didn't occur to me, but this means that a card I have been considering may be useful. Take a look at this:
Discreet Rabblerouser 3BB
Creature-Human Rogue
~ comes into play with 1 secret counter
During your upkeep, each player puts an X/X red Mob creature token into play under their control, where X is the number of secret counters on ~. 1B,T: Target player discards a card or puts a secret counter on ~. If U was payed for this ability, that player does both instead.
1/3
I liked the flavor, but didn't think it had a practical purpose. What do you think of it? (Note: I've been thinking of black using Secret counters for various effects, as black is supposed to be more subtle in this set.)
And PlanesJaywalker, I really like the flavor of Wild Lightning, do you think there's a way to balance it more? Also, I had considered having Strength of Ideals gain when any creature tapped, would this overpower it?
Lastly, will anyone tell me how do do that spoiler thing, so I can shorten the first post?
You may want to check out the Marvel Magic thread.
However, of course I looked at the cards and I liked what I saw. You really tried to capture the flavor of the superheroes.
Thanks for feedback. I edited in some changes. PlanesJaywalker, I hadn't noticed the double white thing until you mentioned it. I gave Almon a bit of an equalizer, I think.
As for Ward of Peace, I understand how strong it is, but at the same time I considering red having some provoke attack effects, so I think there will be some easy ways to end it.
Also added blue and a couple multis.
I'm designing a block, and this block's first set takes place in a city. The second set will leave the city for the wilderness, and the third set will involve a great battle. (Of course, that's not vague at all.
So my first set is ravnica-esque, but with a stronger focus on monocolor with multi supports. (i.e white with w/r and w/u multis)
As noted in the Title, any feedback is appreciated.
Flavor: The capital city of the empire is a very divided place. In the first place, there hasn't been an emperor in 300 years, and since then, the empire has basically fallen apart. The city is divided into 5 ghettos. Sunside: White's domain, pristine courts and bureaucratic halls, the uptight politicians. Skyside: Blue's province, mage acadamies, engineers and urban planning. Madtown:Red's hood, lower class, very rife with gangs and gang warfare Setside: black's neighborhood, slums, unknown to other factions it's an underground metropolis, operate in sewers, unseen HeartMarket: A center ghetto where no one is allowed to fight, neutral
Color roles
White: Lords of lockdown and slowdown and defense
Blue: Small tribal theme, lot of card advantage
Red: VIOLENCE, and chaos
Black: subtle, underhanded fighting, undead
Green doesn't have a part of the town, and is mostly seen in multicolor with red, blue and occaisonally black.
Multicolor stays in ghetto it is most like (i.e blue/red is accepted in red's hood)
NOTE: I don't know how to do the spoiler thing, but if some one tells me, I'll edit it in.

Now, who says that Mirrodin and Kamigawa occur at different times then the present? As I mentioned on another thread, what if the whole Toshiro link (that's not a spoiler.) is temporally shifted by the rifts? Maybe he was meant to b present and a rift sent him past.
Minor spoiler. Or maybe Night's reach sent him into the past for S&Gs.

Guardian Spirit: I hated this card, until I saw the mana cost of W for enchantment mode. However, I am hardpressed to think of a reason for making it into the dragon. It's so much better as an enchant. Seraphim Judge: My world was redefined by this card. This would rock the Magic universe. I can't say whether I love or hate it. Sungorger Serpent: Remember what I said about flavor and mechanics? This is a fine example. Also, I can't tell if this is white. Tied to Infinity: This card is a very...uninteresting card. Flavor v.
