I want to build a commander deck with the five band lands, adventurers' guildhouse. I need some inspiration on what creatures work well in a band, or cards that break banding. I know that trample, deathtouch, protection, indestructible and damage prevention are all good abilities as i am able to control where all the combat damage is being dealt. I have also read about abilities like Elbrus, the binding blade but i fail to see how it breaks banding without trample. Any advice on what would be a way to break banding.
719.3. Sometimes a loop can be fragmented, meaning that each player involved in the loop performs an
independent action that results in the same game state being reached multiple times. If that happens,
the active player (or, if the active player is not involved in the loop, the first player in turn order
who is involved) must then make a different game choice so the loop does not continue.

I was playing with a friend and a really messed up situation happened. I cast Purphoros, god of the forge and then cast Entomb grabbing worldgorger dragon and preceded to cast animate dead. The only creature card in both of our graveyards was worldgorger dragon. My opponent had a vedalken orrery in play and cast spike feeder then enchanted it with sunbond (before gorger triggered), which would give him as much life as he wanted. Now the ruling above states that because i am the active player i would have to take an action that does not result in the same board state, but i can't because my combo is mandatory. So does the game just stalemate?
104.4b If a game that’s not using the limited range of influence option (including a two-player
game) somehow enters a “loop” of mandatory actions, repeating a sequence of events with no
way to stop, the game is a draw. Loops that contain an optional action don’t result in a draw. 719.4. If a loop contains only mandatory actions, the game is a draw. (See rules 104.4b and 104.4f.)
The loop does not contain only mandatory actions my opponent is choosing to gain life.
So then is my opponent forced to stop gaining life because they are next in turn order and lose?
That is true but when i was looking at some decklist it didn't seem that hard to get a few creatures to sac. And while play testing a few of them i found a wincon the turn i played razaketh or the turn after.
At first when i saw this commander i thought it was unplayable, but i had a second look at it a few years later with the release of some newer cards like Kozilek, The Great Distortion and other creatures with menace. I instantly saw how silly it was and had to build a deck.
So the main win is to play a bunch of unblockable stuff and hope there are no board wipes. I am open to suggestion if you think there is any janky/cool stuff this deck could do.
After the release of partners i was wondering if Bruna, the Fading Light and Gisela, the Broken Blade would be good with partner. If they did get partner what would be the rulings on it, especially when Brisela, Voice of Nightmares gets formed and would combat damage taken from Brisela count as commander damage?
What happens when strionic resonator copies cloudform ETB. Does the original go on the stack then the copy, once the copy resolves the manifest enters and gets cloudform attached to it. Then when the original resolves is cloudform attached to both manifests or does cloudform simply attach to the second manifest, and leave the first manifest not enchanted.
