Of the Eldrazi variant or not? The untapped land situation is much worse in eldrazi, so I wouldn't run there, but it could be a decent fit for BW without eldrazi.
Arbiter is frequently the best card in your deck, I'd never replace it mainboard, especially with the damage it does to the top two decks in the format.
How do we think this deck will do once people move back into lightning bolts? I've been seeing more Jeskai on MTGO, so it seems like, as always, MTGO metagame shifts faster then the paper metagame.
Sullivan had one of the worst draws I've ever seen. Basically a wiff on stirrings and drew 4 lands running. Ran 3 leyline and didn't see them in 4 matches. (one was sideboard G1 and 2)
I really like that transformational sideboard into creatures with upside. It'll really tax the other sides ability to sideboard correctly, since they usually want to take out creature removal.
I dunno if it's as strong in a top 8 with the lists provided to both players, but it sure crushed this event otherwise.
Agreed, trial of ambition might actually be playable. It's flicker target for value, and could be decent in some metagames. Not sure about the current metagame, but maybe.
Dismember is worse against the top deck in the format, Deaths Shadow, and the life loss is important as well. Fatal Push is just better in this aggro meta.
Its disruption effect is indeed potent, and in a vacuum Thought-Knot Seer is the stronger card. But this is a deck built around maximizing Restoration Angel's strengths - TKS' effect is neat, but does it match up to blowing someone out with a flashed-in Restoration Angel in response to an opponent's removal spell on your Blade Splicer? Or blinking the Splicer as a combat trick to completely change an opponent's combat math? I don't think it does, especially when jamming T4 TKS into open mana results in it just getting zapped with its trigger on the stack (as I've done many a time). It can also get stonewalled on the ground by a beefy Goyf or Death's Shadow. Flight and flash are huge advantages. Furthermore, reliably casting T4 TKS on curve requires more C lands than just Ghost Quarter and Tectonic Edge according to Frank Karsten's manabase article, which introduces conflicts with the rest of the lineup. The math only changes once Eldrazi Temple is added to the deck, which makes TKS more like a 3.5 drop.
Nothing wrong with TKS getting killed with trigger on the stack, you then get to strip their best card from their hand after the additional draw, it's still a 1 for 1 while making their hand worse.
Just realized you can exile creatures forever with Hallowed Moonlight and Flickerwisp/Displacer, lol. I was running it cause i was tired of all this Beck//Call bull***** as well as Collected Company and Living End.

New Gideon doesn't belong in our deck.

Nonbo with vial, but I guess it's decent tech
Thanks, even big blue control style decks? Cryptic is such a blowout, it seems better to just try to get underneath the counterspells.
Also, what matchups do we remove vial? I just built E&T on MTGO, so I'm really starting to grind some games.
