I love the idea of a blue splash, snacks term, Geist, negate aand dispel are all awesome options and really help to combat the things that tend to shut zoo down.
If mutagenic growth gave trample I'd be all about it, but it doesn't and it doesn't go to face. The original pile my friend loaned me had a 1 of main board delve growth spell, but I couldn't find room.
Hey guys, I'm just getting back into magic again after a break. Yall might remember me from about a year ago when I was on zoo for a while, anyway a buddy of mine loaned me a really rough copy of ZooBurn a few weeks ago and I went 5-0 loosing first round of top 8 to land screw.
The deck seems really legit, and very fun so I proxied it out and have been playing with it a bit recently. Here is my tweaked version
So there it is, this deck tends to be very fast. T1 Fetch, spike into t2 goyf feels really really good. We fart out whatever dudes we have T1 and 2 and sit back with all of our reactive spells trying to count down from 20.
Thoughts and feedback?
Edit: I've somehow messed up the formatting of the deck, there's a sideboard and lands section thst isn't showing. I'm trying to fix it.
I've been running this deck for a few months now and quite enjoy piloting it, nothing much beyond the fnm level so far, but I'm hoping to take it to something bigger soon.
I tore the deck down last night and rebuilt it based on some different versions that I've seen messing around with, reading here, etc.
I have 90% of this and will be ordering the rest before friday.
Counting it out it looks like I have 1 more slot main (or 2 of I wanted to go to 61..) any suggestions? I might just round out the number of rhinos or a golgari charm or something. I always strive to lower my mana curve, this is the lowest average cmc version of the deck that I've tried so far, it also has mainboard hand shred instead of dorks. Dorks are great, but I found myself having 8 slots side for it, and bringing it all in almost every match. Figured I'd try it in the main instead.
T1 Fetch, Hierarch
t2 goyf, Lava Spike
t3 swing, ghor-clan + Boros Charm + exalts + mutagenic = 24 trample unless I did the math wrong.
