How viable do you guys seeing this deck being in todays MTGO meta?

Wanting to try something new for a change and I remember there being a pretty good U/G Tron deck in extended that played Moment's Peace. I was just wondering peoples thoughts on the deck. Thanks.

Even if they put a revised dual into every pack you bought if you cant afford force of will ($40 apiece), Wasteland ($30 apiece), and Tarmogoyf ($100 apiece) those duals dont do you all that much good and by literally giving away those dual lands more people would be driven to get the other legacy staples driving up those prices even further.

You had no hope anyways reserve list or not.

If I could get the essential peices to even make a good Legacy deck(Duals) that would give me some incentive to be able to get other stuff like Goyfs and FOW's. When I look at a deck I see what I can afford of it. If I cant even afford the manabase then there is no point in even trying.

I agree with you. More good cards in circulation = More players want them = The prices for those cards goes up. It's a really simple equation.

However, some cards shouldn't be reprinted in standard because they can affect standard to the bad. But some cards, like the duals should be reprinted.

I wasnt meaning to reprint them in something like a block set more of a FTV type product.

Why would reprints things such as old duals be a bad thing though? It would encourage people to actually buy the product which in turn makes Wizards and the vendor money. Established collectors wouldnt take a hit at all if they are a business they are going to make money selling product that contains duals,FOWs ect. Im sure many people share the same as I do about this.

Role of duals in legacy != BSA in standard

Dual lands are the basic building blocks of legacy decks. There are decks without them, but besides Merfolk they're not as strong. For reference every single deck in the GP madrid Top8 used dual lands.

I care less about the virtual value of cards I won't sell than about having people to play against. For me MTG is foremost a game and making it more fun and more accessible should have priority over anything else.

    This.

A company should try to make things avalible to its customers. Not shut it off completely. Would a reprint in a FTV series of something like Dual Lands or FOW etc be such a bad thing? I would make stuff like Legacy actually something that could happen to people without the means to spend thousands of dollars to be competitive(And yes I do work and make money....With today economy Wizards should see more the reason for such reprints) Vintage is something ive never had a dream of playing cause of the Mox's and now that dream will probably never come true cause this new stupid policy.

Thanks Wizard for making it completely impossible for a player who dont have the money to actually be able to break into playing the competitive format that is Legacy......Good going.

Most lists now and days dont play LED. Look at the most recent SCG Legacy tournay and play that deck or at least build around it. Bloodgast is just nasty in the deck.

If your looking for a good cheap deck to play give Dredge a try. It gets hated alot but its still really good and pretty cheap with the most expensive card being FoW but most of the time that is played in the side anyway.

I think the only time that I have actually done this was when I opened a foil Tarmogoyf. But would you blame me?

Yeah I was going by some other peoples list for my sideboard. Will probably take out the Maws for 3 Deathmarks. The other 2 slots will probably end up being 2 more Cloudthreahers. If I were to take out the Thresher maindeck then I would probably replace it with the 4th Nameless. Thanks for your suggestions though

First day of me playing MODO. I built the LOR Block Faeries deck to test block(Obviously). Best part about 2.5 was the way it screwed you if you didnt know what you were doing. So when I play my first match against a guy I still have my "phase skipping" thing still on so im missing being able to play stuff on his upkeep and stuff. I have no clue whats going on exactly and im typing "Why cant I play my Mistbind Clique during your upkeep its not giving me the chance to" I get the "Wow you are a noob not going to waste my time". Ok sorry I didnt know the in's and out's of MODO.

Couple of weeks later I meet the guy in a 8 man(I have obviously learned how to use MODO better). Spank him silly with Faeries. He got pretty upset and I just type "Noob huh?" Greatness

If Cancel is the 'standard', why does nobody play it? It's overcosted. A hard counter even for 2 in different colors isn't even seen in expansions currently, and yet we get a reprint of the most efficient burn spell ever?

This. I just believe R&D just didnt want to make decks like Fae and 5CC any better by making really good counters until it rotates. I believe that Zendikar will be different though. They will have to make something that gives blue a boost or its going to be a very poor metagame for a while. Remember to have a good metagame you have to at least have a decent metagame(Back in TSP the only thing that kept G/W Tarmogoyf decks fair was the B/U Teferi decks). If not its just going to be creature+a little burn.decks.

Alot of people play Yugioh but I think overall Magic is the more popular game because its designed to be a game for pretty much anybody and is targeted for a much more diverse age group. Yugioh is a very expensive card game as well with certain cards that go for 200 plus easy(And mind you you have to have this card to be competitive). Heres the money lineup for my last Yugioh deck

    120
    120
    60
    60
    60
    70
    70
    70
    30
    30
    30
    35

and a bunch of cards that are worth anywhere from 5-25. The deck was worth 800 bucks easy. You could get the 5cb and Faerie deck foiled for that much(Or start working on getting power). And this is only so you can be competitive at the game.
