Opponent 1 will get the Armada Wurm. This is because regardless of if Grave resolves first it sets up a delayed effect to get the creature at end of turn while Demise returns the creature immediately.
I'm not surprised that Karn is torn up over Venser. He's not the most rational robot ever; he's given to pretty strong emotional reactions over things happening to his friends.
Venser wasn't his friend though. He met Venser like twice. Once when Venser was hanging around Teferi and Jhoira and again when Venser showed up to save him. He should feel bad about leaving KOTH to fight on alone and you know accidentally telling the Praetors to go full genocide. But about Venser specifically just no.
It seems like you are deliberately trying to ignore the actual events of timespiral in favor of cliff notes versions. Regardless of how often he met Venser he formed a bond with him that they both cherished. On top of that its hardly a simple 'Venser is dead so Karn feels bad". Venser sacrificed himself to save Karn, that kind of thing would be devastating to someone like Karn. He would feel as though he had personally murdered him. Is he just supposed to find to Jhoira and go "Hey, I'm fine but I murdered our friend, everything's cool right?". Also, he would only feel bad for Koth if he went back and saw that he was still fighting. He told him its over there was no saving Mirrodin, they should leave and try to actually do good.
Cruel Creed, this effect is mono black, why does it cost blue and red? Its not even effects that bleed into red or blue, its closer to white.
Knights’ Knack, this one is much better, but should be lose 2 life not gain.
Sore Sight, underwhelming. Even with the keywords Titanic Ultimatum is a meh card. Without the keywords and slightly cheaper doesn't really improve. Bump to +8/+8 so its 2x2x2 instead of 2+2+2 and it looks a bit more impressive. Though you can also add keywords that fit the theme of two, so its +2/+2 and Menace, double strike and Daunt?(can't be blocked by power 2 or less).
Soul Slue black would come through better if it destroyed creatures. White exiles more often than black does so it ends up feeling more white.
Spirit Shine, this is interesting, but its only purpose is degenerate combos which makes the restrictive text feel out of place. Also red and white being the combat colors it feels weird that they would team up with blue to get extra turns without combat. A more on point draw back would be "you can't cast spells during those turns". So at worst its a free double Explore and actual plays into its colors strengths.
Terribly Trite, being 6 mana you can drop the nonland on the bounce. Also its the most restrictive on casting requiring two tapped creatures to be cast. If you go "destroy two target creatures if they are tapped" you keep the effect but allow it to be cast for its other effects if needed.
Titan’s Touch, I would personally like Vigilance on this as well.
Turning Tide, this card is beautiful. Though instant might be too much.
Twice Today, very amusing. This allowing the casting of 2 mana permanents and not exiling them is dangerous.
Wild Wrath, adding loyalty to walkers is a white effect currently. While it would be more dangerous if you double the number of counters on two permanents it would fit within pie.
Hi,
Does panharmicon allows me to have two doom counter on baron von count?
Thx
First, you should start new threads for new questions.
No, Baron entering with a doom counter is not a trigger it is a replacement effect. Also if you manage to get a second doom counter through another method, such as proliferate, Contagion Clasp, it won't do anything because it won't be placed on a number.
Osea then, by the effect of Pestilence, would do 2 damage to each PlanesWalker, in this case it would do 2 damage to the 3 walker plans that I control, am I correct?
No, Pestilence Demon doesn't deal damage to planeswalkers at all. It only damages creatures and players, so only creatures and players will be dealt 2 damage.
Kiora gets all her beliefs turned inside out, gets all her tragic flaws exposed and royally trounced in a Greek tragedy fashion, only to emerge just as arrogant as before, with confidence in all the things that failed her, including herself.
You mean when she realized she almost ****ed up the kill eldrazi plan and last we saw she was just walking away from sea gate broken?
I think they are speaking of when they out smarted a God and made off with the most powerful weapon they have ever encountered. You know real moral breaking things, besting foes and obtaining unfathomable power. How did she go from that to an arrogant prick who thought she could take on the Eldrazi. Makes no sense.
Wrong. I'm speaking of when Kiora got wrecked by Kozilek, exposed as a fraud, only to emerge arrogant again rather than face repercussions for the foolish confidence she had in herself that cost so many creatures and people their lives.
Are you talking about the part where she had a 20 minute soul searching expedition and returned humbled enough to work with others rather than forge ahead on her own? Or the part where she was proven wrong and walked away rather somberly?

For me it made perfect sense: She just succumbed to hubris after tricking Thassa. Instead of realizing that she was just extremely lucky to planeswalk away with the bident before Thassa could absolutely destroy her she began to believe that she could best one god, so why not the Eldrazi? She was always arrogant, so this turn of events is a pretty logical next step. And once she realized how wrong she was, the rest of her actions were solely dictated by panic, culminating in her trying to persuade Nissa into freeing the titans at a critical moment. I don't really see the problems with this and it will be interesting to see how she has developed next time she appears in the story.
And I love the Dominaria story until now. Belzenlok and the cabal are as much propaganda as they are a true threat, so it makes sense that they are dangerous (especially because they are trying to rewrite the history of Dominaria and I think that there were already subtle clues that this has done some damage even in areas not controlled by them) but they are not as much an "absolute power" villain like Bolas or the Phyrexians. So even if they'll be defeated relatively easily in the end, they can still leave quite the impact on Dominaria.
Oh how I wish sarcasm came through in writing as well as it does in speaking though its not fool proof their either, but in writing its very hard to tell. It makes perfect sense that Kiora was arrogant enough to pick a fight with Kozilek because of here past fights. 5colors and myself were pointing out that Tiro was misrepresenting her escapades through Theros.
On the subject of Belzenlok, I'm getting the sense that we, the reader, aren't supposed to see him as a threat. To the people his armies are invading he is definitely a threat, but in the larger scheme of things he is no more threatening than Baral.

I wonder for example that if Ugin couldn't be just resurrected with white mana (since his essence/soul was still alive and communicating with Sarkhan) instead of all this time travel mess just to bring him back...
Sorin makes a point about this being impossible because his essence was in fact dead.
Blue mists of energy began to swirl around Sorin. He kneeled down to brush the snow from the solid ice below. There, within the darkness of the ice, gleamed Ugin's unmistakable skull. It looked at Sorin through the dead hollows of his eyes. Sorin reached out and felt for any sign of life, any shred of Ugin's spirit, but there was only a palpable void.
Sorin gazed into Ugin's black sockets. "There's more life in me than in you, dragon."
Sorin pressed his forehead against the ice and spat a curse into the snow as the reality sank in.
On the journey down the cliff into the canyon, he had held onto the hope that Ugin's spirit had not been destroyed. He had hoped there would be something that could be resurrected, a shred of consciousness that could be pulled back from the brink of annihilation. But Sorin's hopes were snuffed out like a feeble flame.
Ugin wasn't communicating with Sarkhan. A message Ugin left behind was playing on loop in Sarkhan's head, not at all the same as communication.
On the subject of somatic control and related abilities. Igniting freed walkers from the need of a body and the various weaknesses tied to that, but only as they could understand and except. Most walkers needed to breath, not because they actually needed oxygen, but because they were used to breathing so they subconsciously needed to breath. Their 'base' physical forms were how they precieved themselves rather than an actual physical core. The walker who built phyrexia left behind a dragon corpse despite not being a dragon. Urza is a great example of what walkers 'could' be capable of; he would stretch his arms out to grab items not by shapshifting but because he had little concern with his physical form so it simply moved as he willed it in defiance of physics or biology. He also had to consciously blink and keep his eyes actual eyes, overall being human was a chore for Urza. Though Urza was a mental case long before he ascended, so its reasonable to say that in order to truly utilize the powers an oldwalker had required an unhealthy helping of insanity.
Its much more reasonable now. Being three colors, it is harder to slot them into a deck, and I don't think a control deck would want to tap out turn three for this unless against another control deck. But they will be a power house in something designed for them. The question is how do you fit blue and black into a currently existing soul sisters deck.
The cleric will die the moment it is brought back by persist. It will trigger its own ability and any other etb such as Kazuul's, but will go to the graveyard before those abilities even go on the stack; those abilities will resolve as normal regardless of what happened to the cleric.
Yes, the active player would have priority when the trigger goes onto the stack. The active player receives priority after a spell or ability (other than a mana ability) resolves.
Note that there are no cards the care about spells resolving. But when a spell resolves a number of different things can occur that would trigger an ability before the active player gets priority. Such as creatures with zero toughness or lethal damage on them being put into the graveyard, the spell itself going to the graveyard, a player losing the game for any number of reasons.
So you're saying that, I can choose to let Kiora's ability resolve and then steal it, OR activate Willbreaker in response to Kiora. I get to choose whether the creature I steal has that damage-free effect or not?
That's even better. Thanks!
No, I'm saying that if you use the combo of Willbreaker and Kiora you will never get the damage prevention shield. But if you use another effect, either a different card all together(Control Magic) or simply target it again with a different effect to retrigger willbreaker, to gain control after her ability has resolved it will keep the shield until its duration ends.
