What cantrips split do you use?

Aggressive and midrange decks started to go wide, such as humans and pyromancer. Path is also the most played removal spell. This hasn't changed and won't but i can't ignore the versatility trials offers. I remember when they printed him I thought, "this is what control needed". He's not stellar in every matchup... But he's a clock that offers something useful for each matchup. Sometimes something extremely useful. Also it helps having diverse threats and can be grabbed with search for azcanta.

So check it homies... Instead of 2 mb cliques, how about a split between clique and Gideon of the trials. Helps out much more in burn matchup, faster clock against Tron, shuts down a valakut on the field and prime time, and shuts down ad naus.

Yeah it definitely threw me for a loop. I love the list though, as it reminds me of old jeskai with no serums. 2 colonnades are my only issue.

He said that list is incorrect. Should only be 25 lands with one of each check land instead of 2

I am not against an unbanning but I do think it's a dangerous precedent unbanning a card simply because a deck is not doing well. Instead the criteria determining the unban should be based on the actual card, not jund is doing bad, let's give it a shot in the arm. I would love to see what it does for aggro as well. But jund has no more of a right for a high percentage of the metagame than the next midrange deck.

Changing isnt warping. And yes I can absolutely say Jace would warp the format. it would absolutely make blue based control decks a huge threat. And I said without naming ub living end and a singleton pyromancer build. Also no competitive grixis list runs visions. Visions doesn't really have a home in modern. We've beat that dead horse for a while now.
And I've explained how it would change the format by pushing uwx decks further from the format.

"Except for these decks it's used in, name another deck it's used in! Bet you can't."

Well since the argument was about blue based control... Yes living end didn't count. And one placement of ur pyromancer doesn't mean anything

Can’t say a card sees no play if it is. So many people on here like to only use the info they agree with and that is skewed to their beliefs. Bbe likely wouldn’t have eaten a ban if not for drs. It’s still a 4 drop and there aren’t many great/format altering 4’s in modern.

No that's not a bias. There's no other deck running visions. You can find that in tournament decklist and results. You can also see the matchup win percent increases for jund with bbe in the modern nexus articles.

There is u/r pyromancer, u Le, and currently people are playing a grixis list with vision. The win % goes up but that doesn’t mean it changes the entire format. People are testing banned cards vs decks that aren’t playing in a meta with the banned cards available. You will not convince me bbe, sfm, and even jtms will warp the format if they are unbanned. They are all powerful in a format of powerful things. Drs was the overly powerful card in jund and bbe paid for it. I don’t and won’t play jund and I have no issues saying bbe is perfectly fine for modern. 20ish% of the modern meta is random stuff so saying card x sees no play just isn’t true. No one would have thought hollowed one would top 8 a pt either yet it did. It’s a wide open meta and who cares if jund goes from t3 to t2.

    Better than Ancestral Vision?

Yes, much better than a card that doesn't see play

Vision just top 8’d a pt lol. You don’t know the meta by those videos at all. As the format changes decks change, so to just add banned cards into decks and say yup they are way better now and not changing opposing decks isn’t a real way to see how it would change a format. Also yes new sets change the format all the time. More so than unbans lately.

The protour is such a skewed metagame for modern and you're talking about not representing the actual meta. So many modern players didn't make it into day 2 cause of their draft records. And ur pyromancer was a fringe deck. Show me any other deck that runs visions in the last year besides the new ub living end.

Why do people believe jund has a right to be a tier one deck? Decks fall out of favor all the time. I've waited since pro tour born of the gods for jeskai to be good again. The meta changes and so do the decks that do well in them. I think modern is finally looking up. Do I think bloodbraid elf and stoneforge are more powerful than what other decks are doing in modern, no. But I know it would definitely change the Meta that seems to finally settle into something nice.

So never unban anything and just ban when it gets out of hand?

don't think I said that. There are still midrange decks that are very viable... Bloodbraid unban is definitely format changing

How do you know that? Every new set is format changing so j don’t see how that even matters.

I definitely would not say every new set is format changing... That's ridiculous. And modern nexus's bloodbraid elf testing articles showed that it would definitely be format changing and would almost push blue based control decks especially uwx decks farther from the format as they can no longer outgrind jund with incremental card advantage such as electrolyze. Bbe just does it better.
