Really random rules question - If I attack with both Brago, King Eternal and Runaway Carriage, then use Brago's ability to flicker the carriage before combat ends, do I still have to sacrifice it at the end of combat? I'm not sure how this effect applies if it's left the battlefield and returned before the trigger would stack.
My inclination is that yes, it will trigger since it is the same card, similar to how if you can return a Bomat Courier from a graveyard, you can still get all the cards exiled with it.
Hi! Does anyone here know of boxes/cases/etc that are designed to hold 4 EDH decks in one container? So far I've only seen ones for 2 decks, or the giant suitcase-style ones that could easily hold upwards of 8-10 decks, but I'm looking for something simple for just 4 decks (plus some tokens, counters, etc.).
I really like the idea MaRo mentioned about pair bannings in Standard. I would love to put Felidar Guardian in a Standard flicker deck, but with its outright banning that deck is missing one very key component. The next best thing is Vizier of Deferment and all the awkward UW instants from Innistrad block or Displacer, which is much tougher.
Cryptolith Rite will not work in this situation unless you have a way to give the tokens haste. Creatures can not use activated abilities with the tap symbol in its cost unless you've controlled that creature continuously since the beginning of your most recent turn or the creature has haste. Crewing a vehicle will work fine.
Ah, right! Totally spaced the whole "summoning sickness" thing. You know... that whole, super important concept of the game... Just happy to know I can do the Crew shenanigans for a fun 3-card combo
Rock on. I wouldn't be able to respond to the Servos entering until the Expertise fully resolves though, correct? (To specify, until I put something like Harvest Season on the stack, the servos can't do anything.)
If I cast Sram's Expertise to make 3 Servos, then use the expertise's second ability to cast Harvest Season, can I respond to the casting of Harvest Season and Crew a vehicle with them (or use them as Cryptolith Rite mana, or anything else that could tap them at instant speed) before Harvest Season checks for how many tapped creatures I have?
One more random question on the topic: Let's say I have a Scrap Trawler, Treasure Keeper, and some 1-cost artifact creature on the field. The Treasure Keeper and the 1-drop die at the same time in combat or from a spell, but Scrap Trawler stays alive.
Do I get to put the 1-drop back in my hand from Scrap Trawler's ability because the Treasure Keeper died? Assume my graveyard is otherwise empty.
SAMPLE BOARD STATE: I have 3 TK's, 1 ST, some thopters, and a Decoction Module on board. In my graveyard I have some Renegade Maps.
MAIN PHASE: I cast IC for X=5 targeting my 3 TK's and 2 thopters. Let's assume that the 5 things IC pulls from my library and the 3 things I pull from the TK's are all vanilla artifact creatures.
1. After casting IC, which resolves first; pulling for the 3 cards I'd get from the TK death triggers, or pulling for the 5 things I get from IC?
2. Does Scrap Trawler see the TK's die before or after the cards from IC are pulled? When do I get my Renegade Maps back?
3. Assuming the TK's also pull vanilla artifact creatures, does my Decoction Module see all 8 creatures hit the board at the same time?
4. Since I have to "cast" the cards from the TK triggers, does it happen after IC completely resolves? Can I "cast" these cards as creatures are still getting pulled? Do I have any choice here?
5. In the middle of all of this, when do I get ETB triggers and Decoction Module triggers for everything I'm pulling?
Greetings! I've been steadily tricking out my Sigarda, Heron's Grace EDH deck (Human & Equipment theme) but need a little help. I've got great creatures and removal/defense, but it seems that half the games I play I'm stuck on 2-3 lands forever while my opponents have a 7-mana pool by turn 4.
How can I improve my land base and card draw abilities?
Greetings! Random question that seems to be in a gray area. Let's say I've shuffled my deck plenty well before a game, but later on through some tutor effect like Evolving Wilds and the such I see a clump of 4x Galvanic Bombardments all in a row in my deck.
1. Can I pull these out and redistribute them in the deck, followed by a thorough shuffle?
2. Should I call a judge and ask for some allowance to redistribute these cards?
3. Am I just SOL and need to shuffle a ton before my next draw?
My inclination is that yes, it will trigger since it is the same card, similar to how if you can return a Bomat Courier from a graveyard, you can still get all the cards exiled with it.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance! -Cyg

Good call on Lifecrafter's Bestiary! I'll add it one once I'm done having fun with my standard Rishkar deck
How can I improve my land base and card draw abilities?
Current Land Base: 35 Lands, a mixture of duals, basics, taps, evolving wilds, etc.
Card Draw: Puresteel Paladin, Mentor of the Meek, Harmonize, Skullclamp, Stone Haven Outfitter, Terrarion
Ramp & Land Tutor: Karametra, God of Harvests, Werebear, Selesnya Cluestone, Sol Ring, Birds of Paradise, Borderland Ranger, Sword of the Animist (Already know I need a Keyrune and Signet)
Other Tutors: Open the Armory, Congregation at Dawn, Relic Seeker, Thalia's Lancers
I'm primarily seeking help on the land base and card draw. Any suggestions on a sleek budget? Thanks! -Cyg
