"What the hell?" exclaims Mal as he looks up to see Will being dragged off. He stoops to collect the contents of Will's dropped envelope, pocketing the hotel key and stuffing the rest quickly inside his jacket. Then he takes off sprinting after his kidnapped comrade. As he runs. he yells after them, "Hey you mooks! Let go of him before I forcefeed you both lead sandwiches!!!"

Mal reaches into his jacket as he runs, first checking to be sure he isn't losing any of Will's stuff, and then placing his hand on the grip of his Glock, hoping like hell he doesn't have to draw it and put truth to his words on this crowded sidewalk.

No big deal Ether, I've been fairly busy myself lately. Working 2 jobs will do that, but I make sure to have time for the important things... Wink J/K Alacar Grin

My sincere hope is that it will be interesting, and not a sea of Goblins. Of course, with the format getting this kind of high profile attention, we'll probably see something come out of left field and dominate. I know there are pockets of high Legacy interest in the Magic community, and the deckbuilders are borderline insane (Solidarity, Spanish Inquisition) So let us see what the pro's can do with it. Will there be new things? Or will they be lazy and just play stock lists? Only the Shadow knows...

Today, in a change that is certain to cause a lot of discussion, Magicthegathering.com announced that at Worlds this December, one of the formats being used, in addition to booster draft and Standard, will be Legacy instead of Extended.

Speaking of Worlds formats, I got the inside scoop on what just went up on the Worlds info page this week over breakfast with Aaron Forsythe and Scott Larabee...but you'll have to wait until next week for that.

The 2007 World Championships is a four-day event featuring Standard, Lorwyn Booster Draft, Legacy, and National Team Two-Headed Giant Lorwyn Booster Draft.

Very interesting bit of info there, and sure to anger a large portion of players who don't like eternal formats.

Mal chuckles to himself and shakes his head slightly as he watches Will go through his envelope. Figures I'd get a guy who's disorganized, ill-prepared and most likely new... he thinks to himself as he waits for Will to tell him their destination.

Thought that was a bit more appropriate than saying "Bump". Anywho, I hadn't posted in a while cause I was waiting for Alacar to. Just wanted to let you guys know I was in fact still paying attention.

Way to bone up the spoiler tags Ether Wink

Mal slows the pace of his walk as he smiles back politely at the people who smile at him. He digs into his pocket and pulls out his cigarettes and lighter, stops and lights up one before replacing them back in his pocket. He stands there, looking at Will and waiting for a response to his question.

"I don't know, you tell me. Didn't your boss give you a hotel reservation card? R is usually right on top of those things" Mal said as he kept walking along the taxi line. As they walked he watched those around him, to see if they're being followed.

Of course, my first check roll and I blow it... rolled a 2, wtf

I don't play traditional golf, but I am a frisbee golf FIEND. I'm not great or anything, but I have a blast playing it. Mostly cause its outside and I find I haven't been doing enough things outside lately.

heh heh, no degree for me. I decided college was a waste of money. I graduated high school in 2002 with ease and decided to start living my life then. Been working odd jobs around here since. well, other than the last year anway lol. I've been trying to get into a T-Mobile call center that opened a couple years ago for the last 8 months or so, no luck so far though. Currently I work in a laundrymat.

~takes a deep breathe, and follows it with a very relieved sigh~

So, I had a GREAT weekend. Mostly it was great because I have a new job. I started it on Sunday night, which just so happened to have been a year since I was fired from my last job. So, Yay for me, I'm a productive member of society again! This has been slowly driving me insane for around 8 months and I am glad to be getting past it finally. I must have put in 200+ applications over the last year and got 6 interviews. 2 of which were at the same place. THAT was pretty frustrating, let me tell you...

"Indeed I am, Welcome to LA," Mal says, his smile broadening, "I'm Malcolm Roberts. You can call me Mal. Come on, let get you settled in. They did set you up with hotel reservations right?" Mal turns and leads William in the general direction of the taxi line while waiting for an answer.

Mal takes a final drag off his cigarette and tosses it on the ground. He steps on it and stamps it about before looking back up from the ground. It is then that he notices the very man he's here to meet walking toward him. "Ah!" he exclaims, "Perfect timing!" He stands up and smooths his coat before walking up to William. "William Freeman I presume?" He says with a smile, extending his hand by way of greeting.

Re. Tony Jaa: I saw Ong Bak back when it was first released in the US. Muay Thai is such a brutal fighting style, and Tony Jaa brings it to the screen perfectly. The Protector was also quite rough. They're the kinds of movies that make you cringe in sympathy.

Re. RotW: GRATS PHOTON AND ETHER!!! You guy are awesome.

Re. Fantasy Books: You all should read the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. Its far and away the best fantasy series I've ever read. And yes, I've read Lord of the Rings. I like it cause it feels like it was written for adults, and not children like most fantasy fiction I've come accross. I mean, who can argue with the Wizard's First Rule: People are Stupid.

Same here. Majora's Mask killed Zelda for me. I HATED that game. Then came Wind Walker, the cartoon Zelda... I won't even begin to share my feelings about that one, since alot of people do like it.

Yeah, Perfect Dark was a good one also. I never got into Paper Mario, and I couldn't figure out why.

Also, lets not forget Zelda: Ocarina of Time. That game is still in a tie at the top of my list of favorite Zelda games. It shares a spot with A Link to the Past.
