I think your plan covers 99.9% of cases, I can't speculate what the other .1% would be!
BTW, consider adding cropped pics too.

Nov 21, 2013That plan sounds beyond the call of duty. Be careful, people like to split hairs and they would have you do ridiculous work to satisfy every edge case. There is a point of diminishing returns, so for your sanity set boundaries now.Posted in: Third Party Products
Nov 21, 2013Having the names lower case is going to be a problem for everybody, since all apps I'm aware of try to follow Gatherer naming conventions.Posted in: Third Party Products
The CCGHQ Pics cause a tiny bit of trouble sometimes as it is, since we name the cards as printed, while apps use the Oracle spellng. And most apps throw out "irregular" characters like Æ.

If you use the same download folder then only the new stuff will be downloaded. If you start at 0% then you haven't configured your client properly.Quote from lionden_56Are we going to have to re-download the whole torrent every time a new set comes out? Seems inconvenient to have to download 15 gigs for the 1% of it you actually need.

TBH, the last set I downloaded looked quite bad, from Gatherer I guess, so I'm pleased that Octagon is finally using our scans for its official releases. What took so long?Quote from Gasparepics come from slightlymagic, yes. I had to shrink them a bit though, because at the original resolution they cover a portion of the playing field too big. IMO at least... (I know it's "ethically" uncorrect but i had to do that, really)
You can alter and use our scans any way you want to, in fact, we encourage it. They look great when reduced, sharpened a bit, and color saturation corrected. (I use an Irfanview batch to do that.)
All we ask is that those who use our HQ Pics credit "The CCGHQ Team at Slightlymagic.net".
Unfortunately I see no such credits in this case. We aren't credited in your download "Scars_of_Mirrodin_v0.9.[brine]..[GO]", and we aren't credited in your release announcement: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showpost.php?p=5915574&postcount=27, and if you're concerned with ethics then this should be corrected going forward; it's plain common courtesy. I think the CCGHQ Team deserves as much credit as the person who reformats and rereleases our sets.
To those who don't give credit, almost everyone will know where they come from anyway, but to not do so is rude to put it mildly. A lot of work and time, expertise, and yes, money, goes into our sets and we don't ask for much in return, just a few words.
Oct 11, 2010Magic Suitcase used to be the tool for this and still is for lots of people, but it's getting long in the tooth. I recommend taking a look at Magic Album: http://www.slightlymagic.net/software/libraries/22-magic-albumPosted in: Third Party Products
It's under constant development and if there's a feature missing it can probably be added. The main purpose of this program to replace MWS Library. You can use it to keep track of your inventory and build decks.
