Another day, another cube draft, another 3-0 and another lousy picture. Picked up an early mox jet and a lot of one drops. Splashing red for goblin bombardment (probably bad, i didn't draw it so i couldn't test it) and Falkenwrath Aristocrat, which was pretty okay.
Oh it's not there, i didn't pick it. But it went very late that's all ^^. Will draft some cube tomorrow, probably won't get a sweet a deck as the other one, but hopefully it'll be something nice regardless!
Drafted Cube Rotisserie today (just finished a cube, and i obviously had it sorted so why not rotisserie?). Took like 2 and a half hours to finish the draft, but it was hilarious. Ended up 3-0ing, which was fun enough. Added a picture down below, but warning, the quality is terrible. Horrendous even (hope you're good at recognizing card art!).
I think Mulldrifter went like during the last ten picks, so Sene would be mortified!
Really looking forward to seeing the changes. Had a rotisserie draft (first draft since i made the cube!) today with a cube not far off yours (well, 90 extra cards). Used your cube as a blue print since i've always enjoyed the look of your cube. Had a ton of fun today and ended up in a Grixis artifact deck which was redicilously fun.
Will have to see if i enjoy the non-artifact theme change though!
In terms of competitive-minded EDH, you essentially said "not good enough," because the card pool is essentially Legacy's. (As for casual EDH, I'm sure some people will play it in Zedruu, because Zedruu players like unusual political cards, and this isn't half bad.)

It's still decent; instant speed card draw for 4 is hard to come by. And putting things in the graveyard is not an issued in EDH. It's your 2nd hand usually. Also; being a 4 casting cost instant draw is important because a lot of blue decks hinge on having mana to counter the really important things (Tooth and Nail, Genesis Wave etc). For 1v1 EDH it's probably to slow. 1v1 EDH is basically legacy/vintage lite.
Went 6-1 at the prelease with red (which amount to 6 packs, wish i had your prize support Semantics). My deck was remarkably average, but had some great synergistic rare (2x Labyrinth Champion). My curve was absolutely terrible though. However the average playskill wasn't that high and i probably should've lost at least 2 of the matches if they'd played it right. Did lose to an insane blue deck that had Sea God's Revenge, several other bounce spells and just about all the removal and flyers you could ever want.
How would you make red tokens work in your cube, or if you had more slots what would you play? I am at 500 cards myself but i'm looking to expand to 540. Aside from what's in your cube and the nice theros cards, what are some nice red token support cards? I just can't see playing Mogg War Marshall and Krenko's Command as good enough. Or is Red basically the support color for white or green with something like Purphoros and Goblin Bombardment?
Looking at your review makes me want to see how your cube is at 540. I like having more archetypes to draft, Fires and tokens. Also really like some of the new cards as well as not having slots for other cards i really like (like capsize!).
Loams are pretty easy to locate, especially if you don't care about modern masters. I think foil MMA loams are only around $20.
I just changed my list recently, so now I have to find an FBB savannah and another foil enlightened tutor!
Quite true ^^,. However the pimping process got interrupted by my desire of having a vintage deck. So my cash went for power lately, and then some foil confidants! But they're gonna be mine soon. Just got to get my paycheck!

Know the feel. Missing 4 ports and 4 loams for the main deck + tons of sideboard cards myself. Got the FBB stuff though. Man that deck is hard to get pimped out. I might have shamed myself by going for the Judge foil Wastes though!
Over the last three months i spent around 4000$ on Magic as i was getting into vintage. But this was all money i knew i was going to work in during the summer. Sure i was pretty out of cash during the summer. But i had already put away around 800$ for each month which covered rent and food and put them into another account (especially for food and rent). Once you start understanding that you put away the money for the important things (rent and food) you can have an account that is filled with money that you could TECHNICALLY spend. I spent all of that money during the summer on magic cards, but i had to make sacrifices. I couldn't do much else, and as long as you're fine with putting yourself on such budgets it's fine.
But you can only do this for so long, at some point you have to save some money. Make sure that when you spend money you actually have the money. My tip is buying into the formats you like the most and stay away from the others. And every month: Put away money for the important things. When those are paid, you can use the rest of the money for whatever you want. Just make sure to have a buffer for when something goes wrong (broken stereo, tv, broke your leg etc.)
Just my luck... When i need rishadan ports suddenly their 30 euro instead of the 20 something they have been for ages.
It isnt reserved however, is it possible it will ever get reprinted in standard? Or is it too strong? I wasnt active during mercadian masques so i havent got a clue.
Anyway i picked up 2 NM for 60 dollar in a small shop seemed ok at that moment. Still need two more. Wait or get them now?
Rishadan is a location in Mercadia. So i doubt we'll see an exact reprint in standard. A functional one could be possible, but i doubt it. Hope there is one in FTV 20 i guess!
I played Wolf Run Bant and lost in the quarters of my WMCQ (same as Sene's WMCQ) against Esper Control, which is almost unwinnable game one. Infact in game one my opponent told me he didn't know what i was playing, so when i mulled to 5 i just scooped. Didn't quite get there though! Lost my last three quarter finals in online PTQs and WMCQ's now, so i'm on the same line of thought of Sene. Next time, next time!

Amazing stuff. I love Adventure Time alters, they are so badass. Lich is the scariest cartoon character i've seen in a long time
