Are people really upset that its not as good as the fake spoiled manland?
This land is great and is gonna be used along with Shambling Vent in Abzan.
If the U/R one is mediocre then abzan will have the 2 best manlands in the cycle.
Get used to the constant whining from posters on this site, They are dissapointsd by every single card that gets spoiled that isn't basically a reprint of Tarmogoyf or Jace the Mind Sculptor.
Not true. Just somewhere in the ballpark of the Worldwake lands. We have waited years for this cycle to be completed and all of them are worse then the worst of the original ones. If these were a new design I think they would be pretty cool but they aren't. They are following in the legacy of the originals. It is like the Star Wars prequels following the original.
This is a solid land that will definitely see play in Abzan. It is better than Stirring Wildwood in that deck because you can drop it T1 and set up a T3 Liliana of the Veil. It is also better than Treetop Village in Jund but probably worse than Raging Ravine. The deathtouch is currently being evaluated. The land can trade with a big creature, but it is unlikely to survive basically anything the enemy throws at it.
No way! I would take Stirring Wildwood all day. You can still easily get T3 Liliana with all the fetches and shocks. It is simple. One dies to Lightning Bolt and one doesn't. In a format like modern that is the difference between playable and not.
Holy crap this is bad. Seriously I feel like WOTC just spent all their time making the lore for Battle for Zendikar and forgot that they were supposed to make cards! This entire block is like a watered down version of the original Zendikar. Khans block was fantastic but this is a pile of garbage. I am starting to get nervous about them screwing up Innistrad now. What are the chances they give us two horrible blocks in a row?
Nope. He would be a creature with summon sickness. He is designed so that in order to use the ultimate without dying you have to plus him for no reason.
Does anyone know why prices for cards that are in MM2015 are spiking on MTGO? The prices for Noble Heirarch and Spellskite among others have jumped 5 or 6 bucks since they were spoiled last week. Am I missing something? Shouldn't they be going lower?
