If nothing else, if you have less cards in your deck then your opponent with sphinx does, then couldn't he force you to deck out? Crazy
edit: already beaten to this answer by a ton of others, so I'll just say that this is the first card I actually want from the set. Weak set overall though.
Is this the best mana to damage ratio for a red sweeper since Blasphemous Act?
The set in general is super weak. Nothing exciting thus far, except for maybe crucible on legs.
Long live our new god-pharaoh and divine overlord.
Might get tested in my Saskia EDH since I care about dbl strike effectively quadrupling damage output, but beyond that her minus is so weak...
I literally only bought it to flip though, I have no use for the card. Who wants it? 15 bucks right now
Every update has either been neutral or beneficial for you while neutral or hurting me.
In other words, yes I'm a bit salty that I may never get a ban update that hurts just you. (i.e C. Sphinx or painter)
I wonder how this will shake up the format. Shame that one of my decks favorable match-ups is hosed
I'm only sad he wasn't just gruul so he could fit in my RG edh too.
The idea is that 3 of the 4 "op 2 drops" if not answered, will go a long way towards winning the game while the 4th provides a ton of value towards controlling the game which will indirectly lead to a win.
This card seems to have a similar effect and at the least will stall the game until they find the removal.
I feel like this could be ubiquitous in red decks like stranglehold is to slow down combo(edh) I can only hope it's affordable for a short time before getting too high
Looks like rhonas wins the best god award
