The rot is slowly eating away at his mind as well as his body now crazed he resorts to fire to burn the rot from his body thus freeing him from his torment. He travels to the great furnace in hope that the flame will free him. It saves him but at a price he is now greatly damaged due to the effects of the rot as well as the flame it self leaving him burned and scarred. Though weakened physically the flame was able to save his mind from being eattin away and even gifted him with a twisted mix of his necromancy along with a new found ability to wield fire.
