Nice reprints. I'm not suprised WotC had to upshift a red rare to mythic, as how many red mythics with any value are there? I guess they could print Zodiac Dragon at mythic, and then there is Imperial Recruiter ...
In a regular Master set (24 boosters in a box) I think it was normal to get 3-4 mythics. As this is "double"; more than twice as many rares and twice as many mythics, as well as two rares/mythic in each booster, shouldn't that mean it would be 6-8 mythics in a Double Master booster box?
I do expect some more value rare cards (maybe Panter's Servant and Grindstone, to name a couple), but most of the value seems to be in the mythics.
There will always be some bulk rares, but they could at least be spoiled with some nice cards ... Spoiling two rares worth less than a dollar is bit disappointing.
A bit off topic, but how many mythics can we expect to get in one Booster Box?
I'm happy about a lot of the reprints, especially Containment Priest, Back to Basics, Demonic Tutor and Mana Vult, and in general, I think there is at a lot of value at Mythic and Rare (even though the price for a booster / box is higher). At the same time I would have liked to see Urza's Mine, Urza's Power Plant and Urza's Tower, as well as Manamorphose (hybrid mana without Manamorphose?!). I also wish they included Jace, the Mind Sculptor, this being the final Master set, why not go all in on the top planeswalkers? Trinisphere would also be nice. Also, why not include some value for red? Just give us Zodiac Dragon. Preordain would also be a nice reprint and a possible new artwork.
Would I buy a box? I'm considering it, though, I might just buy the singles I need.
One way to change or abolish the reserve list is to announce it a few years before any reprints happens. If people knew now that in 3 or 5 years cards that are on the reserve list (or some spesific cards on the reserve list) might get a reprint in a "Masters"-set, the value of duals will only go down gradually over time, and vendors or other collectors who have a huge stock of these lands have time to sell them without losing a lot of money.
Sure, I don't know much about the legal issues with abolishing or changing the reserve list, so I don't know what really is possible, but there are different ways of doing it.
I'm sure vendors and collector's would rather see Wizards reprint reserve-list cards than ban them ...
Cavern of Souls should be rare. It was printed in a set mythic already existed.
Very few lands are Mythic (only Mirrorpool and Maze's End that I know of), so maybe it's more likely that Horizon Canopy, Grove of Burnwillows and Cavern of Souls will remain Rare if they are reprinted (I really hope so).
I mostly just play modern, so I'm hoping to see the following cards:
Ensnaring Bridge
Liliana of the Veil
Horizon Canopy
Grove of the Burnwillows
Damnation
Also, I have thought about getting into Legacy (or a casual "no-ABU Duals Legacy" until I can afford some of them), and wouldn't mind seeing:
Sneak Attack
Show and Tell
Ancient Tomb
City of Traitors (Edit! ... it's on the reserve list.)

Mystic Confluence, Fiery Confluence, Wretched Confluence, Verdant Confluence and Righteous Confluence would be nice. Not sure how many of those would see any modern play, but might be fun in draft.
Hope they finish the "Sword of..."-cycle, and I wouldn't minde the "Talisman of..." artifact/mana-cycle.

From the ABUR-sets I just hope we'll see Lightning Bolt with the original artwork.

Hopefully we'll see Snapcaster as a Rare, and not Mythic. It would suprise me if Snapcaster Mage isn't reprinted in this set.
