Just think, in a moderately distant (but not too distant) future, you will meet your timeshifted self and she will have protection from meds. I am coming closer and closer to this point myself, and...
... realize that I make far too many Magic references...
I don't much like the second question, either, but I guess that's mostly my own personal line of thinking as to playing this game.
I don't think we're thinking of the same Swerve, given that the only one I know of redirects a spell, and has nothing to do with copying it. Our spell is nothing like Swerve.
Anyway, AI, I think the flavour text should have something to do with the art. Battery and lightning don't quite mesh in my mind.
I like this card as our submission.
Edit: My mind might not be in the right place right now, so if there's something searingly obvious I've overlooked, please chalk it up as "alright, just completely disregard Ravus (again)".
We've got official images of "Sarkhan the Mad" straight from WotC, so I'm fairly sure that's the official name. But I don't really have a problem with it. It fits, and somehow appeals to me as if it's hearkening back to a time when whimsically added-on words could play the part of an actual name.
What?
I'm so disappointed that you had to besmirch yourself with an "Izzet-sounds-like-is-it" pun.
It does look fun in a stupid kind of way, though. But "top sixteen" on a Game Day doesn't sound particularly encouraging to me.
Nice attempt at dissuasion. If there were three scum, surely you'd've won last night, no?
Again, sorry, I tried to post Saturday.
But honestly, showing up so late, I was expecting to be lynched, as I was horrified that you (Gigas) were going to vote for me.
Vote: Lucknorris.
It's down to Gigas' decision. Victory for the town or mafia comes down to his vote (as surely Luck will vote for me... that he hasn't already is interesting). Nothing more I can really do but point to the evidence against the both of us. Luck's been acting fishy all game long, and the case against me is that the nightkilling "seems appropriate for Dimir", which I would still argue doesn't hold any weight.
That does seem pretty mod-gamey, given that just RFG'ing them makes more sense game-wise than stating outright that they got saproling'd to death. And don't the mafia as a whole usually have the nightkill, not just the one player?
If that first image were given a negative-effect, it would appear kinda blue-red (a bluish-white tinge for the black, and a pinkish hue for the green) wouldn't it? Otherwise the third is the best choice, but looks pretty out of place in the background. Also looks a lot like a brain.
That sounds a lot like "oh, lynching me is useless, so don't do it please", but I'm not sure I want to take that chance, given that it seems a good parallel to AE's claim... :erk:
I suppose if Luck can't be lynched, we ought to get Auron, as he has been the next scummiest player. Then we can lynch Luck.
I am going to be honest with you, as not doing so would be get me lynched anyway. I have gone out of my way to avoid claiming--not because I am scum, but because my role looks particularly suspicious, and I would almost certainly get lynched for it. I can't be the target of abilities, and my guild is obviously the most suspicious (Dimir).
The flavour is that I can't be seen, being the "guild of shadows", and is a role that interested me very much until I realized claiming would likely ☺☺☺☺ me. I can't be nightkilled, so I am a counter to the mafia, but my guild could easily lead me to being mislynched.
Now, I don't know how to convince you not to lynch me tomorrow, given that if I am scum I would win if not lynched, but it's between Luck and I now (lynching Auron is the most obvious choice for tonight), and a mislynch would be fatal to the town. All I can do is urge you to lynch Luck, the scummier player.
Yeah, I mistyped that post. I meant to ask your ability / "full" role. What does being a "town evangel" mean?
A weird. Some plasmatic blob of... for ☺☺☺☺'s sake, Firefox doesn't recognize "plasmatic" as a word.
A plasmatic blob, pretty much.
In all fairness, I'm wouldn't turn someone to stone just for polishing a weapon in front of me, but I guess this is fantasy, afterall... and not me.
I'm not sure I believe that claim, given that Razia's sword was made of fire (:isthatso:), but I feel more than confident lynching Luck right now.
And wasn't Clayton(?)'s flavour also the same, if vague? I don't think Auron could've blocked both Cyouni and Clayton that first night. But then, I can't really pose any alternative possibility, either.
Fair enough. Like I said, I wouldn't have put up with that sort of demand, either, without any basis.
And I disagree, as I feel it's pretty obvious that Cyouni was paranoid (a scum cop would just be dumb in this game), and if joboman copied his role, surely his investigation would also be paranoid?
"Town evangel" would sound like a cult to me, if Rakdos weren't already around.
What is your role, Luck?
