Again, I don't care. My manabase works and it has been through playtesting games through my friend and me and there have been probably 100 games between us, and I don't know how often we get mana screwed (In my case, not yet) but we're winning matches and games.

And your first example is completely irrelevant because those decks don't run ponder o r early cantrips like adept. They run visions and mana-elves. Your first example makes it seem like you don't know how this deck functions.

The reason I say "terrible" is because everyone is on this deck's nuts now because it won a tournament and now everyone is saying "Lol Juju is wrong, this is the best deck in the format." which is completely false. Dragonstorm hasn't placed highly at a true high profile event since worlds. And don't forget, worlds only has what, 6 or 7 rounds of standard until top 8? Maybe less? I'm pretty sure playskill and knowledge > deck choice in that torunament, and people are always trying new decks in that tournament, though obviously with previous playtesting.

There are no opinions regarding my mana-base. The fact is that I've yet to get mana-screwed in about 20 games of FNM and testing, and I always would get flooded when I ran 21-23. A friend of mine runs 19 in his and he won FNM a few weeks ago without dropping a game in a competitive meta. Last I heard getting mana flooded with 21 lands isn't an opinion.

I honestly don't know why you guys keep getting on me about it, I don't care. I don't care how many lands you or the pros run, the fact of the matter is that my mana base works for me and if I get to run 3 more spells in my deck that are bombs than I will do it.

20 lands is fine. Still have yet to get mana screwed.

But all of this is irrevelant becouse bitterblossom is not rotating out and will be just as strong in the upcoming new standard

It will be STRONGER. Seen the latest block results? Faeries makes up like 60% of the top 8 decks every week.

I don't like having to tap out a lot to maximize the thrashers power.

You can just tap out at the end of your opponents turn. Sink mana into mutavault and tap all of your lands.

My point being that when one consistently plays a meta filled with little more than preconstructed decks (dwarf amongst midgets -_-'), saying that XXX person said XXX, means so very little and contributes nothing to the thread. You gave a legitimate critique with Extirpates and others responded with solutions. That should be how this works.

I play in Minneapolis, not North Dakota. I'm just here visiting relatives. I'm probabbly not going to pick this deck up but I'm saying that a credible source and skilled pilot of this deck said that he wouldn't even play this at nationals. I'm honestly done talking about this deck because now it will be an FNM deck that randomly top 8's a tournament due to surprise factors.

2nd best player in the state on constructed rating, and his brother is first. He missed top 8 by 1 round at nationals last year.

I might've missed some other things like his top 4 at last regionals, he's Q'd for worlds on rating. I could go on and on.

Like I said, he likes swans alot, but doesn't think it will be good at nationals. I was just talking to him about it and when I questioned the deck choice he agreed that a deck like elves or faeries is better if you want to win a big tournament.

Me and the 4th best limited player in MN play 2hg at pre-releases =P. But alas, pre-releases are small now so no more 2hg.

Nonono this is team trios not 3 headed giant. You play individually against the other team and whichever team wins more matches wins the round.

I've got it. In lark I can main 2 blinks instead of 2 spouts due to the lack of alot of aggro. In the board I can just play 2 clasm and 1 ***. Seems reasonable.

Lark plays 2 main, 2 side. It's wrath 4-5 and 6-7. Wait. Elves might be possible. Just need to switch terror for nameless in one of the elves of faeries, and it will lack mutavault. Bah. stupid staples.

We don't want RDW either becuase it's just a lame deck to play. Such a coin flip. We'd throw swans in but it and R lark would have to share pool and spout.

    goddamnit.

Bitterblossom is terrible in 1.5, for anyone who thinks it isn't. People tried it in landstill and random decks and they sucked. Faeries is too slow for it to be competitive. It placing 1st in a 69 man makes me laugh tho. I'm sure his deck just relied on CB Top and just had a worse clock than thresh.

Ramp is a throwaway? The deck beats everything except lark, which no-one plays in the meta. The ONLY problem that prevents me from wanting to put it in our teamsdecks is the fact that it needs 4 spout.
