Bushido 1 3B,T: Until end of turn, you may play target instant or sorcery card in your graveyard as though it were in your hand. If you do, if that card would be put into a graveyard this turn, remove it from the game instead. Play this ability only if Tetsuo Umezawa is equipped.
Why is this card good? For the most part, what made Vitu-Ghazi so good was that the tokens could A. be jitte'd B. Beat down against control and C. Tap stuff with Glare. It also happened to be in the right colors for Glare. Splashing Red into glare whilst adding more colorles lands doesn't sound good to me. I'm sure this card will find it's way as a 2 or 3 of in a few decks, but i doubt it will be the centerpiece of a major competitive deck, nor would I be surprised if it was a casual only card (Kobolds in casual sounds like the hawtness, This post is strictly about competitive formats).
In a vacuum, Kher Keep is not very good. However, if you pair it up with Glorious Anthem, the Kobold tokens can attack for damage. We might even get something like Goblin War Strike or Goblin King except for Kobolds in Time Spiral or Planar Chaos or Future Sight.
I for one am glad we are going back to the Dominaria, the place where Magic began. Sometimes you have to go backward to go forward - and I found that some of Ravnica's guilds, and, er, the entire Dissension set, turned out a lot lamer than I had been originally led to believe.

Maintains a similar concept to the original Storm Herd, and is much more playable. Might even be good with mana acceleration or in reanimator. Or, er, Oath of Druids.
I don't think the RavDuals will ever be in a Core Set. I expect Wizards to save those until the next multi-colored expansion in five years, or whenever.
I do, however, think that Armageddon could be reprinted sometime soon. They gave us Wildfire back in Ninth, which is like Armageddon plus Wrath of God in this environment.
And yes, Char and Twincast are mortal locks to be in a Core Set soon. I'll be surprised if at least one of them isn't in Tenth.
Gerrard and Volrath for their importance to storylines past. Jugan, Hidetsugu, and Keiga because Kamigawa is awesome and Hidetsugu randomly annihilates people.
Merfolk are fine and I don't really have any problems with them . . . but neither do I understand the overarching excitement and fascination that some people seem to experience with Merfolk. *shrugs*
Giant Solifuge is better, but both are playable under the right circumstances. Lightning Serpent's main problem is that a single Darkblast nullifies it, which makes me a little cautious about including it in a place I could include a Solifuge. I got one at the pre-release and I would typically wait for the opponent to tap out late in the game and then ambush them for eight to nine damage - but then Coldsnap limited is much lighter on spot removal than Standard.
