Heretic's Fork 4
Artifact
Reveal a card at random from your hand and remove it from the game: Target player reveals a card at random from his or her hand then removes it from the game.
Nonland cards that share a name with cards removed from the game by Heretic's Fork cannot be played. "Carved into the horrific device were the words 'I recant...' "
Inferno Strider R
Creature -- Spirit
Haste.
Sacrifice Inferno Strider: Inferno Strider deals 1 damage to target creature.

Braid of Ice2U
Enchantment
Cumulative upkeep--Tap target permanent an opponent controls. (At the beginning of your upkeep, put an age counter on this permanent, then sacrifice it unless you pay its upkeep cost for each age counter on it.)
When Braid of Ice leaves play, tap all permanents you control. "She had a way of weaving a chilling tale..."
*edit* Just bolded the card title for easier reading.
*edit2* Just realized I can still edit, submissions don't go in until tomorrow.
The first is a decent take on "Assemble", though makng it an upkeep trigger is kinda iffy. Also a 2/2 for 2 in red is pretty much off limits.
The second and third, I'm really not liking the "rig" ability, especially given that they don't have a mana cost (and as such couldn't be played as writ). Also, why isn't the wasp's sac to make a contraption token an "assemble" ability? Also, why remove the contraptions from the game? Since they are tokens, sacrificing them will cause them to hit the graveyard and be immediately removed.
I suppose making it an upkeep trigger was a way of keeping it from becoming overly powerful...if it were an activated ability instead of an upkeep trigger it would allow you to pitch your hand (madness be damned) for the larger creatures/artifacts/whatever that have assemble.
Also, I'm pretty sure you're allowed to play a card w/ no mana cost using my rig ability...after all isn't that kinda like suspend and not paying its mana cost either? I'm not sure, can you explain that part to me?
You're definately right about sacraficing the tokens though, not sure why I made it remove from the game...
Looking back at the wasp, I suppose making assemble an ability that has many venues of activation a possibility. I don't know, what does everyone else think?
Lastly, what's the problem w/ a 2/2 for RR? *points to Blood Knight*
AJ, thank you for the input. I can't believe I failed to take into account Teferi! I will be making some changes to the deck after doing some testing w/ a modified version of Mystical Teachings toolbox. Thanks for the input once again.
Jhoira of the Ghitu - She's the center piece of the deck and works very well at what she does. Suspending cards like Detritivore and Aeon Chronicler w/ 4 counters for just 2 generic mana is mean. Her 2/2 body makes her fragile and I'm a bit worried that she might get bashed because of it.
Detritivore - Main decked 3 because the current meta has a TON of nonbasics. This thing is a beast w/ Jhoira.
Aeon Chronicler - This guy spells massive card advantage if you can suspend multiple with jhoira.
Rift Elemental - While fragile he does the job of speeding up removal of time counters to push out faster beef.
Drift of Phantasms - Helps to stop the early aggro and transmutes for jhoira.
Delay - Helps to push back some enemy spells to allow you to move out your key pieces sooner.
Akroma/Kraken - Beef, that's all. Akroma is nice her because her array of abilities keep her safe from most harm.
Visions/Compulsive - Draw Card, Vision mixes well with rift elemental.
I need help crafting a sideboard. What changes would you guys make? Thanks!
I love this deck idea, and I am going to test this deck for myself. Maybe I'll give it the once over...I'm no master deck builder but one more person lookin it over never hurt right?

My thoughts? Dakmor Salvage is a land with dredge, which would of course be interesting in aggro loam if that's true.
