You guys think a fetchless RDW in modern can work? I don't have money for fetches in paper, so my plan is to get a RDW list and slowly get the fetches as i come across them. I've been doing some testing with mono red and splashing white for boros charm and SB cards (rest in peace, enchant removal, etc).
I run a matron goblins list that's decent but some matchups feel unwinnable (storm, UR tron, good delver pilots) d those are by far the 3 most popular pauper decks.
Hell, I'd reccomend running one of the above, or you'll probably get frustrated.
*disclaimer: I just had a bad losing streak on mtgo, including losing to a fissure storm deck that took 20 minutes to combo out and play his whole deck
But the difference is that there are scholarships for females in general, but I'm pretty sure there are no "male only" scholarships except possibly for black males or something like that.
There are absolutely general male-only scholarships.

Personal moment. I've been losing weight to go from 'in shape' to 'really in shape'. Started at 182 pounds, just weight in at 168 pounds. Hopefully make 160 in a few weeks. Mostly just want to prove to myself that I could do it, but I'm actually feeling more energetic than I expected.
I'm going to be sad when this season ends ~ this is my second highest win rate across a season
'Grats Zeman. I've recently buckled down to get in shape, like going to the gym to do strength training as often as i can (hopefully at least 3 times a week). No progress so far but i feel really good after i workout so i'm gonna keep at it
Played against 3 4-5 color 'goodstuff' decks and stomped them all lmao. One guy's plays were:
T1 land
T2 land, farseek
T3 land, double farseek
T4 Master biomancer
T5 swagtusk and die anyway to alpha strike with hellrider, pyreheart, and cackler followed by flames of the firebrand to the face
I'm very reluctant to lean on any type of token card right now. If there wasn't enough good token hate out there before, there certainly is now. We'll just have to see how much of it ends up seeing play.
I agree with what Z has said about boros charm. It may very well end up being a SB only card against control for mostly-red lists.
I also don't know about playing both reckoner and pyreheart wolf in a sligh red list. If you're trying to be fast, I feel like you just want to max on 1-2 drops into pyreheart wolf and hellrider. Reckoner slows this strategy down and I really feel like he'll end up in more of a red mid-range sledgehammer build with hellkites and such.
Reckoner slows you down a little but i think the amount of virtual card advantage/reach he can create is enough to justify his inclusion alongside pyreheart wolf.
He's almost impossible to block/be blocked profitably, is really good with stonewright (who isn't though), in the event he DOES get blocked he'll help clear out blockers, or if they have a fat blocker he threatens to burn your opponent out.
I could see him falling out of favor if stuff that gets around these above strengths gets widely played, like oblivion ring, or if decks emerge that we cannot 'go above' and our only option is being faster than them (though in that scenario pyreheart might get cut first, it's hard to say without specifics).
On Firemane Avenger: I don't think she'll see play until Innistrad rotates. An environment with restoration angel being so prevalent and having to share a 4 drop slot with hellrider make it unlikely to be played in this sort of deck. Though, she has potential in some sort of grindy R/W Sledgehammer build, perhaps. Especially if you have an assemble the legion online (though if you can get that online you should win anyway).
Ok seriously i think something is up with the Cockatrice shuffler, it keeps giving me really bad hands. Like, 7 mountains bad (i know mountains are the best card in the game and all...), or no land, or four lands and 3 hellriders...
I dunno maybe it's because i've been testing all day and seen tons of hands lol
I'm considering moving some number of boros charms into the board and replacing them with pillar. It really sucks having a boros charm in your hand with thalia when you're stuck on 2 land, and i think thalia is good enough to MD. She's good vs. everything but the aggro mirror, and even then she can be decent (first strike and all). You'd definitely want to board her out vs. green based creature decks though. You need your burn too much.
Some testing notes (haven't played as many games vs. other people, but have been playing solitaire to see how the mana works out. Doesn't matter who you're playing if you can't cast your spells):
-Truefire paladin seems like he would be really good in a 'Brighthammer' build 'cause he's a sick at defending AND pushing damage through but he needs lots of mana. Sort of a one man Stonewright/Ashzealot army.
-Wojek halberdiers i thought he'd be an auto include but battalion doesn't happen as much as you'd think and the RW cost makes him not quite as consistent as I want, and I don't want to dilute my manabase with too much white. I dunno, i don't like him. He's a basically a chainwalker that's harder to cast, can block, and sometimes has first strike.
-Thalia, Guardian of Thraben is really, really good. Playing her turn 2 on the play against farseek decks is pretty much a timewalk and with a turn 3 Ash Zealot you can have them down to 13 or 14 (depending on the one drop) before they can play any cards. She also delays the sweep by a turn so you can keep mana open for skullcrack when they try to swagtusk to stabilize.
I'm not sure about spark trooper. He's no replacement for hellrider. You don't really want him in control because the lifegain is irrelevant and he doesn't help your board position. I dunno if you'd want him vs. aggro (definitely not the mirror with all the first strikers) but if you can get him to connect it'll definitely give you an advantage, though i'm not convinced he'd be better than nearheath pilgrim (which is HILARIOUS when soulbound to hellrider). Maybe he'd be good vs. midrange to help break up stalled board states, since they'd need instant speed removal to take care of him effeciently? I dunno. He's a card that would need the right environment to be playable so i'm going to keep my eye on him.
