Im still for the older architype of the control MBC, since it can solve most problems...
i use Nameless Inversion maindeck since there are alot decks here useing cards like treetop etc etc... with the cameleon in the enviroment, 4 Damnations are a must, and i use Phirexian Ironfoot... with the nameless inversion maindeck, it has the posibility of killing the cameleon
2 corrupt and 2 Tendrils in maindeck for life gain are a must IMHO
hi there
i would like to have both a banner and an avvy with Trigun theme
everything is up to the artist, and the main line should be the main chars name "Vash the Stampede"
thanks in advance
Hey all...
i havent posted in some time since i didnt make any changes to my list for some time, but now i added both bitterblossom and will add Oona after it is released
here is my list of a more classic MBC
i agree with talon, the deck is good against control decks aswell
sure there are bad control matchups, but you can get around that by going full discard :/
Do we have a good matchup vs elves? I borrowed a friend's elf deck for fnm just gone as he ended up having to run it, and it tore everything I played against to absolute pieces. I played mostly against aggro - once against UW control. Was wondering if my chances of outdoing GB Elves with MBC are high as I prefer it to other control decks and actually have the cards for it. Plus, my meta still has quite a few random faerie decks kicking about.
elves are one of our best matchups... they just roll over and die to damnation and all the rest of our board control...
our truly bad matchup is UW control running ansestral vision... he can come back with CA in 1 turn after heavy discard
turbo-fog is a bad matchup since its long and we usualy cant do enough dmg
fearies are a relatively bad matchup, but if you play 4 Sudden death main and 4 Nameless inversion in SB it becomes good
Doran is a bad matchup usualy IMHO... its just 2 powerful for me to handle before SB
deathmark is the key SB card against Elfs, Kitkins and doran
with the new problematic cameleon comeing im thinking of adding cruel edict in SB, but i dont know if that will help alot... for now the only solution that is safe for it is Damnation (besides splashing white for Oblivion ring... witch solves alot of problems ;), but i still prefer to stay mono)
I see a mix of aggro and control in my meta. I see fast kithkin, goblins, u/g faeries but also various forms of blink and martyr control.
Against aggro I side out the graveborns (and maybe the shriekmaws if they play black) for deathmark and ironfoot (edict if I smell colossus).
Control sees stupor moving in... what to move out?
since i have a similar enviroment i found out that haveing hippy in the deck makes a whole lot diference , especialy against faeries
also sudden death is a must in such an enviroment... again especialy against faeries
i made big changes with the deck and i think its more optimal
Stonybrook Banneret opens so many posibilitys, like a 2 mana Merrow Reejerey or a 1 mana Silvergill Adept, makes Sage's Dousing better than runesnag etc etc
mouth of ronom and damnation are the obvious maindeck solution for the colosus
urzas factory can slow it down aswell
it is a big problem but not that big imo
i would like to make a request for an avatar and banner
i whant this picture to be used for the banner
http://www.l2021.com/bbs/attachments/month_0803/20080314_d28add21778b7a9607aaFhQQx4OaDNrA.jpg
(without the chinese letters)
and writen on it:
never give a sword to a man who can't dance
the avvy should be made with this picture
