Due to the printing of Korlash,I am pretty sure the sorceress wouldn't be in X. It would be cool, but Korlash being able to regen makes him pretty good in that spot. Nightmare has been in a while, but I imagine he has at least one more in him before taking a break. I cant wait to see what other new art is coming, I like that we get to have so much new art, with black borders no less. I can't recall actually being all that excited about a core set before, so I guess wizards is doing something right.

I have to agree that it definitely made me think fallen angel at first impression. There typically aren't too many knights running around with that much cleavage, but angels.....
I'm just saying that I don't think she looks very knightly. Then again, with wotc you never can tell tuntil you have it in front of you.
Im thinking that the magus cycle wont actually use an of the cards from the core set. furnace of rath, phyrexian arena, etc. In the context of the future, its possible they could all be preprinted enchantments as well. I doubt that would be the case, but when R&D is involved, you can never tell.
unfortunately for you, there may be nothing wrong. not all tournament locations report the results to the dci. i play alot of sunday tournaments at a place and only about 1 in 3 get reported. its frustrating but there arent that many other options on sunday.
anyway, i think the old art is better but the new art is still pretty awesome, im hoping to grab a few. and any word on the new foil promo is much anticipated.
I wonder if MaRo and company are laughing as hard at WotC as I am right now. They have a full blown frenzy on their hands, and I imagine are greatly amused by all of this. I can't wait to find out more about all of it, I'm definitely intrigued by everything we've seen so far. The arguing over all of it is not helping us figure out what's up, but it sure provides the guys over at WotC alot of laughs. I just hope the sets as fun as the set-up.
in the control ive been running the ephemeron is awesome. people are saying that no one would want to tap out to play it on turn two. heres what im looking at.
turn one- forest, birds
turn two- island, tap forest and bird - suspend
mana open for spell snare
after that, sit on counters and bounce, he comes in and wins you the game
not always, and not the most reliable, but doable.
everyone keeps saying why things cant be, based on the story time line. im not saying they are right or wrong, but with a spiral there are many jumping off points. if time is screwed up, then its possible to have things from before the mentioned points instead of picking up directly where it was left off. until we get more info on the direction they are heading with the set, its going to be hard to figure out. i cant wait to find out more, and i hope some of the guesses have been right, because some of them would be awesome.
